iPhone Dr Ji’s office on a Friday at 9 AM called again in the afternoon was assured he would call me that he always calls his patient back. I’m still waiting again today.

Excellent doctor, excellent nurse. It’s the support/office staff that is horrible! Can’t schedule appointments, on hold for 30 minutes until you hang up and try again. It was so frustrating I put off getting treatment for what may be cancer. Now I’m looking for a urologist whose staff is capable and competent. It stinks that the office staff is preventing me from seeing a good doctor.

He saved my life
I felt compelled to update my review from last year. I came to Dr. Ji after a urethra injury during my cancer surgery. I’ve been in his care for a full year now. Today, May 6, marks the one year anniversary of when I coded at South Miami Hospital and Dr. Ji saved my life by placing a suprapubic catheter bedside. I wore a Foley and suprabupic for nearly a year. On Dec 19 he performed a urethroplasty and my urethra has now healed. I’ve adopted two slogans: 1- urology should be spelled urolo-Ji 2-because of Dr. Ji I can now pee Great doctor! I wish I could give him 10 stars. Btw, his staff is amazing also.

I came to Dr jis office and was super nervous about the mass that had been found on my kidney although my doctor hadn't been able to give me a lot of information. However Dr ji was able to break down the issue for me, provided a plan, and I felt a lot more at ease when I left the office. I have surgery coming up and I feel comfortable knowing Dr ji will be performing it.

Awful bedside manners. Worst experience in my 53 years. He was rude and condescending and dismissive of my symptoms almost making me feel stupid. He even hinted to me lying and complained to be on overload of information. Baptist Health South is an excellent institution but he is not at the level. A doctor should listen to you and respect you. He did neither of the two. He was narcissist and arrogant and I would never recommend him.
