He seemed very nice at first, but that changed. I was completely awake and alert during colonoscopy and anytime I moved in discomfort or made a sound he would say something like 'There's NO reason you should have any discomfort right now'. He was visibly angry that the medication didn't affect me. He didn't even ask me if I was ready, or if the sedation was working. He just decided to go for it..It was a horrific experience, and to top it off I had some very concerning findings that he gave to me in 10 secs, then wheeled me out like an assembly line.I felt totally dehumanized. I was told the prep was the worst part...Try being totally alert while they cut apart your colon through your backside while being told 'You're not feeling any discomfort'

I found Dr. Ocampo to a very caring doctor. He answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood. I was very nervous at my colonoscopy, and he and his staff made me very comfortable.

I was so nervous about my colonoscopy but Dr. Ocampo made me feel very comfortable, he took his time to answer questions and explain the procedure before starting, I was wake during the procedure (my choice) he answered any questions I had along the way. Then when it was over he shared his initial findings and made me feel at peace. I received my results quickly and need to return in 5 years. I will definitely schedule with Dr. Ocampo for my next visit.

Absolutely the worst, Most heartless, short tempered,uncompassionate Dr I ever met!

I’ve seen Dr Ocampo twice for my colonoscopy. He’s very professional, and I received my biopsy results within 3 days of my visit.
