He is an excellent surgeon, excellent bedside manner, explains every procedure. I had a upper lobectomy robitcally and the healing was fast. He takes the time you need to answer questions. I highly recommend him.

This surgeon poorly explains procedures. His focus is on the time the operation will take. Patient care before, during and after the surgery is enough to get the operation done and get the patient out of the hospital. The patient is encouraged to ask questions, but then the questions are glanced over and explained so the patient will consent to the procedure. Staff appears friendly, but they explain little if anything. Seek another doctor and hospital who actually put the patient first. So many people told me not to go here. I should have listened to them.

Dr. Herrera is an excellent surgeon. I just had the lower lobe of my left lung and lymph node removed. I wasn't lucky enough to have the robotic surgery. He listens, is caring and very informative. My husband and son were very impressed with him explaining everything after my surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Luis Herrera.

He was excellent, answered all my questions. I had an robotic assisted upper lobectomy. I never experienced an ounce of pain. He was friendly and approachable on his hospital rounds. One of his residents did an excellent job of removing the tubes without any pain. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Herrera
