Not only was Dr. Castro easy to talk to, he also gave us great news about the length of the hospital stay, the size of the incision most likely and recovery time. We were elated.

Scary procedure but Dr. Castro put me at ease. Very professional but also a sense of humor which I like. Wasn't rushed. Spent all the time I needed to give information and answer my questions.

Dr Castro is an excellent surgeon who we can't say enough good things about! He cares, takes his time with you, he acknowledges his wonderful team of doctors, nurses, staff and spreads the love. For someone who cares for others' hearts, he appears to have a lot of heart himself. We are grateful to him for the successful surgery which was complex and necessary.
