He refused to give a referral for gallstone surgery. Had to jump through hoops and finally go to his office where I was ridiculed by the receptionist and his wife for insisting on the referral. They all started clapping when he finally gave me a referral because according to him a surgery was unnecessary and gallstones go away on their own. It is a complete hipaa violation that his wife gives unwarranted medical advice about personal patient information. I ultimately received surgery and they found a black mass when removing the gallstones. The surgeon told me that if I waited any longer it could have spread and became worse. Dr. Bonilla should have his license revoked for being so careless and inattentive.
