He listens and educates you about your nerve damage. He delivers the quality health care solutions which your individual situation requires. If you seriously want to get better, go see Dr Batlle, he will help you to be your best self again.I was a total train wreck… in 10+ pain, barely able to walk and Dr Batlle helped me get my life back. I no longer take pain meds and can walk 3 miles with no pain. Thanks to Dr Batlle, I can now live well with my degenerative disc disease, a split disc and some herniated discs… without spine surgery.

After struggling with back pain from an injury from a hurricane, I finially went to Dr. B He is so knowledgeable and offers different treatments and injections, etc. I am having treatments that have proved successful. although not permanent, they are amazing relief from my pain. I will comtinue the treatments. I am 75 yrs old and love the pain free days. I would highly reccommend Dr. B to anyone for knowledge, compassion and he really listens. Thank You Dr. Batlle. P.S. Office staff is great also.

Dr. Battile is the best!
I really like Dr.Battile so much. He's very personable, kind, and does his best for his patients. I get spinal injections with no anesthetic, and he couldn't be more gentle if he tried! I barely feel a thing and am always surprised when he says we're done! In contrast, years ago I had the misfortunate of a totally opposite experience...injections w/out anesthetic...and it was horribly painful and an all round dreadful experience. I felt like I was in a Saw movie!! I am so glad to have a doctor of his caliber and compassion. I never hesitate to recommend him despite the long wait times I usually have at his office...due I'm sure to his popularity. Thanks for keeping me more mobile, Dr. Battile!

If I could give him zero stars I would
Nervousness behavior, long wait times, nobody returns phone calls, requesting copies of your records is like asking to win the lottery, half of the time you don’t even see him you see someone else, always paranoid about getting in trouble with the federal government, very hesitant in prescribing you something if what you’re on isn’t working. If you’re this paranoid about the government then maybe you’re in the wrong profession of trying to help people with chronic pain which may require you to write prescriptions. If you’re that paranoid then maybe you should be practicing elsewhere instead of providing pain management to patients. Run far away from this guy and his establishment not worth the hassle or the wait times.

Have been a patient of Dr. Batlle for several years, I am very happy with his service, he has helped me with my back issues. I think he is a very caring physician. Some times I have had to wait a little longer for my appointment, but He is definitely worth the wait. I have been to other Drs. but did not get the same results. Thank you Dr. Batlle.

I have been seeing Dr Battle for a couple of years now and I fully believe he is worth the wait. He isn't a pill pusher, he's a problem solver. I had seen a different pain management doctor years ago that basically had me way overdosed for my problems that I have. Dr Battle does everything by the books which can be inconvenient but I can't fault him for going by the rules of medicine. He is very realistic in finding personal physical goals and achieving them with you. He is excellent at back injections and he prescribed me just enough medicine to keep me out of pain most of the time. He also tries to keep you on a working dose as long as possible so that your body doesn't accommodate the increase and then leave you in pain anyways. I like that about him. I feel he really cares and doesn't want to just give me more because I think it will work better. It will only increase my tolerance for pain medication. Dr Battle is very attentive and helpful with alternative methods for pain as wel

I have been going to Doctor Batlle for almost 3 years now. Yes there has been some long waiting times but nothing more than any other doc office. As for the Doctor himself, he is the most wonderful, caring, true doctor i have ever had. He does not treat you like your a nobody, but treats you with genuine concern and you are in his office for however long it takes before all your questions are answered an you are satisfied with your care. I will continue to go to Dr. Batlle as long as my spine continues to worsen. I recommend him 100%. He has taken the time to get to know me and he listens. I wont go to anyone else.

Last month Dr Batlle told me to make an emergency appointment due to dental surgery. He was going to supplement my prescription due to extensive surgery. I went in early as I was told and saw a PA. Upon leaving, my prescription was not updated as promised. When I asked to speak to him, one of the girls told me he was done for the day and the script was correct. I am done with this place. Sometimes two hour waits and they say one thing and do the other! Find another doctor!

Been here since 10 am. It’s going on 1 o’clock. Front desk girl very rude. I asked if how long It was going to be because I was in waiting room almost 2 hrs. She didn’t even look up and said “you can reschedule it’s probably going to be a long wait” well she wasn’t kidding. I feel she has a problem with “white” people. 2 African American patients that she talked with she was pleasant with. Another white lady she was dismissive with as well. First time here and will definitely be my last haven’t even seen dr yet. I’m in agony plus have almost a 1 hr drive back home in northern pinellas county. So far extremely disgusted with this place. His CMA though was professional and empathetic and kind.

I would not recommend this doctor. My last prescription was written incorrectly but I did not notice until I was at the pharmacy. Instead of 30 days I was only able to get 7 days worth of pills. After several attempts to reach someone to make the correction with the pharmacy I finally received a call back after the 3rd message and was told that I would have to make an appointment to get a corrected script. I refused to pay another $50 copayment to get medication that I need to function. I truly believe that the script may have been written incorrectly on purpose just to force me to make another another within 2 weeks after the original.

Seen on 6/11/2019. The wait was 2+ hours but expected & worth it due to his reputation. I had a problem with 2 of the ladies, one of which works the front reception, very dismissive, with no patience for all the questions i had,she seemed to have no empathy for a 55 year old man who has never been to a pain place before, who was already nervous and embarrassed, due to the stigma attached to pain management places. The girl who later came out with my prescription was very nice though. Dr Batlle was very very nice and educated. I was involved in a rear end crash that left 4 discs in my neck and two in my lumbar herniated, and although the doctor tried to persuade NOT to go on Opioid medications, but since my primary already had me on it he agreed to continue it, BUT talked to me about spinal injections which could get me off the opiates, so we set that up too. Although my C7-T1 most likely will require surgery, he eased my fears and agreed to try injections first. HE IS AN EXCELLENT DR!!

Dr. Batlle is awesome. He has always made me feel as if I am the decision maker in my care and listens to what I have to say. The support staff though is awful. The send rxs to incorrect pharmacies, dont fill out the correct papers for pre auths and are just overall underqualified and incompetent. I feel sorry for the Dr having to work with these people. They cripple him and his ability to provide excellent care.

Dr. Batlle has been an amazing asset in the recovery process of an accident that I was involved in. He and his staff are always pleasant and there to help accommodate my needs and especially help me with the experience of healthy lifestyle and alternative options to heal, outside of just shoving pills and treating people as people not a number! I’d highly recommend Dr. Luis Batlle, M.D., M.S.- Pain Management
