The worst. I presented with several symptoms that she totally failed to stitch together to a reasonable initial diagnosis. A lab test she ordered was not properly written, and therefore not executed by the lab, but her office at P3 told me that all tests that she had ordered had come back negative. Apparently no one read the results nor noted the missing test. I went to another provider who immediately suspected what was happening, did a blood culture and put me in the hospital for two weeks of IV antibiotic plus 4 more weeks of same at home. If I had not sought care elsewhere and stayed with Burciaga, I'd most probably be dead. And, I am totally serious about that. If she is your PCP, run away as fast as you can. If you're thinking of starting with her, don't.

My elderly mother had her 1st visit with Dr. Burciaga today. My mother has a new blood disorder and Dr. Burciaga provided a good explanation and advice on how to proceed. She spent a good deal of time with my mother and answered all of our many questions. We felt a lot better after this visit.

I came in with ankle injury and pain on my back tense from crutches . I requested a muscle relaxer and she recommended massage therapy /compresses which I scheduled and had been using and heat/cold as well but the medication would have helped ease the tension and severe back discomfort in combination with massage/hometx She said no to muscle telaxers. I would understand if it was considered a narcodit but is not. Unless I am wrong. My usual doc did Prescribe the medication but not her ??

I’ve been going to Internal Medicine Doctors for nearly 40 years for Thyroid Diseases. Dr Burciaga is the doctor that really took the time to listen to me about issues with Thyroid. She doesn’t sugarcoat the diagnosis, she tells you like it is. The true facts. I respect Dr. Burciaga whole heartily. I’m very pleased with this doctors bedside manner. I strongly recommend Dr. Burciaga as a Primary doctor and for any Internal Medicine needs. The staff is extremely helpful. Highly recommend this Dr.

She does not even deserve one star. She has no empathy for the patient. Makes wrong Diagnosis, does not refer to other specialists, has no clue about medications, does not know how to interpret abnormal labs.; gets out of the room in less than two minutes; asks to keep going to her office every two weeks; performs beyond medical ethics and creates an atmosphere of intimidation if you ask any question related to your diagnostic work up or illness. Should not have medical license to practice. .

If there were no stars, that is what I would choose. We made and appointment for 3 different problems for my son. She walked in, listened to his chest, wrote for an antibiotic asked what pharmacy it needed to be sent to. She started to walk out of the room, and my son said that you didn't even see me for my issues. She said I saw you, you are dismissed and walked out. She spent a total of 2 minutes in the room with my son. She didn't even want to hear what he had to say. She wouldn't see me whe

Never greeted me, just told me the prescription I take is very rarely prescribed. She checked the pharmacy bank to see if I had been taking this medication, I had, and came back with a prescription that was 1/5 of the dose. She handed it to me and said "that should fix you up" and walked out without saying anything else. This was my first and last time going to her.

I was seen by Dr. Burciaga for a follow up, after visiting the E.R. for a torn calf. During the exam I was instructed "Your calf is not working correctly and need an M.R.I.". This test was to be scheduled by their office. After four days of fighting with this doctors office, I was told that Dr. Burciaga would only do the "peer to peer" call with the insurance company "if my calf didnt get better". She is the one who said i needed this test, then would not do her job so the test could be done!

Very incompetent doctor. She's very unprofessional and no empathy. I wasted my time seeing her twice. A waste of money as well. I have never met a doctor such so rude and does not listen to her patient.

She doesn't listen to patient concerns. Does a quick exam and just wants to prescribe meds. Will not explain her treatments. Her attitude is that she is the doctor and don't question her. Dismissive attitude.

Not happy with my visit with Dr. B at all. She is not very understand and pushy... I had a doctor I was seeing for my diabetes for a long time now. She tried pulling me away from that doctor and almost telling me I have to see the one doctor she wanted me to see. why would she care so much who I see as long as I see one. something is not right about her.. very weird

At first I felt Dr. Burciaga would listen and try to help me, but I quickly realized by my second appointment when she spent all of 5 minutes with me and did not pay attention to any of my concerns that that was not the case. It has all been downhill from there...

I liked Dr. Burciaga quite a bit. She was respectful, sincere, considerate and kind. She listened to me when I spoke and recognized my past history of allergies and asthma. She offered the minimum of medications which is exactly what I wanted. I would definitely see her again!

Saw Dr Burciaga for the second time and I am very happy with her attention to detail and her interest in my care. She remembered our previous conversation and goals we had already set for future appointments. She was the first in many doctors that even checked my heart and breathing from symptoms I was experiencing before. I love that she pays attention to details. I'm going to continue seeing her. Thank you Dr. Lucy for being there for me when I needed a real doctor.

She was horrible! She didn't listen to a word I said and treated me like an ignorant child. She even made fun of me as I was leaving the office for walking the wrong way until a nurse pointed me towards the door. I sobbed the whole way home from the appointment.
