I have been a patient for over 20 years! Before anyone leaves a review, read and educate yourself on his qualifications. MOHS surgeon! He is a quiet Dr but he cures! If you want to socialize, look elsewhere. I go to be safe!

DR. BLANCHARD SPENT LESS THAN 5 MINUTES WITH ME AND TOLD ME THAT I NEED TO COME BACK TO HAVE THE SKIN PULLED OFF MY SCALP. HIS PRESCRIPTION DID NOT WORK, IT RATHER MADE THE CONDITION WORSE. I BELIEVE TIME STOOD STILL IN HIS PRACTICE AND BACK TO THE MIDDLE AGES INSTEAD OF 2024. ABSOLUTELY SCARY…….

Dr is very arrogant and rude. No compassion. Has o knowledge of understanding the relationship between skin , joints tendonsand nerves.I'm in severe pain. I've been dealing with my condition for life. He wanted me to wait three months to Just see if i could get approved for the medication I need.Does not know how yo quickly get patients the medication they need and doesn't care

Dr spends most of the time with his back turned to you, talking to assistant. He asks assistant about previous visits and why you're there- not you. Always asks who your pcp is and what insurance you have (?) Usually in and out in a couple of minutes unless you ask questions about whats going on. My last visit i asked about some peeling skin on my hands and he said its probably eczema and left. Didnt bother saying anything because i had apointment with my pcp that week and got some ointment for my skin from her. I'll find another dermatologist to go to, i've never had a doctor put in so little effort during a visit. There's a reason you see so many similar reviews for Dr Blanchard.

No bedside manner or patient engagement. Not even willing to take the time to discuss results, cauterize wound from procedure or discuss follow up. I have never felt so devalued by a medical professional. Wish I had seen other patient experiences before I put my care in his hands.

He kept asking who (pcp name) referred me to him. Why did my PCP refer me to him. Who is my insurance provider. Weird, eh? I arrived 30 minutes early to fill out the paper work that has all this info. He said my dark spots on my back are eczema are normal. I told him to freeze them off (they are really itchy and it's hard to reach these itchy spots) He then said you will get more of these as you get older. Oh! Really? rude. AND He asked WHY do you have this particular insurance provider........Weird, eh? GO LOOK AT THE PAPERWORK! I told him Seizure issues.. thank you for asking.. even though this has nothing to do with eczema. He immediately left the room. He needs to retire.

Good doctor Answer service is inferior waiting to make appointment for over 40 minutes

I went in for a full body checkup, but he refused to look at my back or anywhere else but my face. He never used my name. Did not ask whether I had any questions, and unceremoniously left the room after about 2 minutes.

Horribly unsafe during COVID. Very overbooked waiting room crammed with people. Extremely long wait time. Unacceptable.

Paid absolutely no attention to me me talked with the nurses more than me. I was embarrassed about my condition and his bed side manner was awful. This man needs to retire.

I went to see Dr. Blanchard, because I have eczema. He did not pay attention to anything I was saying, and he told me to stop using soap or shampoo to wash myself. He needs to retired. Don’t go see this nutcase.

considering a malpractice suit I was treated for eczema of the face for around 2 yrs. which turned out to be cancer it is the type of cancer that spreads. Squamous cell carcinoma. Cancer still active 4 months after surgery.

This is the doctor to go see. I am beyond happy!! My first experience with skin cancer was with another well known doctor in Las Vegas, so much drama and costly. Not with Dr Blanchard, quick to the point. the procedure went so fast and efficient. He is a man of few words, if you have questions just ask. You will get the answers. His staff is amazing. He deserves 5 stars all day long!!

Doctor is okay but didn't use a dermatoscope or head light for skin cancer screening. Billing is mess, sent us a wrong diagnosis code and refused to correct that so we have a higher bill. Wait time is horrible - almost two hours.

IF I COULD LEAVE 1 STAR I WOULD. HE WOULDN'T EVEN SIT DOWN. I KNOW THE ONLY REASON HE WASTED 2 SECONDS TO EVEN CLOSE THE DOOR WAS DUE TO HIS REQUIREMENT BY HIPAA. HE WAS SO RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL AND BLUNT, I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT I WAS EXPERIENCING. I BROUGHT MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER FOR HELP WITH ACNE AND HE TREATED US LIKE BEGGERS OFF THE STREET ASKING FOR HIS FORTUNE. I WASN'T GOING TO SAY ANYTHING BUT SINCE HE WAS IN AND OUT THE DOOR IN LESS THAN 90 SECONDS I HAD TO SPEAK UP. HE DIDN'T CARE, HE STILL SAID "WELL OK, THAN THIS IS PROBABLY NOT THE RIGHT OPTION FOR YOU." HE THEN WALKED OUT. I TOLD THE OFFICE TO FLAG MY DAUGHTER'S FILE TO NEVER ALLOW HIM NEAR HER AGAIN. IF I EVER GO IN FOR AN APPOINTMENT WITH HIS P.A. JUSTIN WHO IS AMAZING, AND FOR SOME REASON HAVE TO BE SWITCHED TO BLANCHARD, WE WILL REFUSE. I WOULD RATHER SELF DX THAN EVER HAVE TO DEAL WITH BLANCHARD AGAIN. PLEASE LORD, IF I EVER BECOME SO BITTER AS HIM, PLEASE ALLOW ME TO REALIZE IT IS TIME TO RETIRE.

Dear Dr. Blanchard, I have never been so disrespected and disregarded. You would not even shake my hand (Don't blame it on Corona). The only thing that you cared about was the VA dumping $$ in your lap for a procedure. I needed more biopsies and the VA NP is not qualified to confirm/deny a cancer diagnosis. I do NOT have acne or foliculitis. Since my visit, I two more lesions arose, one on my face and one on my unbilical hernia scar. Foliculitis? Not so much. You did not ask what my concerns were, nor offered any other services like biopisy. Again, the VA NP does not understand that there various forms of Basal Cell Carcinoma skin cancer including Superficial Spreading BCC and that BCC's INVADE local tissues. I told her what I saw under my BCC after it was last biopsied (Inward Growth) and she completely disregarded what I told her, saying "..That's not how these behave." She is WRONG, just like I TOLD you. I know more than her about BCC behavior and there is more happening in my skin.

I see Dr. Blanchard at least 2 times a year. I see he gets many low reviews. Guarantee you that's because of his "bedside" manner. He is a highly regarded, highly competent dermatologist with eagle eyes. He finds EVERYTHING and treats efficiently and effectively. He is aloof and not warm and fuzzy. But if you're there for treatment and not to make a friend, he's your guy! Maybe you can find both warmth and expertise elsewhere, but for me, I'm there until he retires.

Dr. Blanchard was exceptional. Very thorough in a caring professional manner. I would recommend him to anyone needing a Dermatologist
