Dr. Luay Shayya, MD

I was referred to Dr Shayya for post TBI. Dr Shayya examined me, ordered an MRI. At the second appointment Vivian, NP oversaw my care. She has been wonderful! She cares, listens, encourages, and has referred me on to another specialist. I couldn't be more satisfied with the care. The entire staff is amazing. I will miss them and am so grateful for their support.

The staff were friendly and courteous. They were accommodating with my many appointments and coordinated them so I didn’t have to drive to the office multiple times. My concussion work up was thorough. Dr. Shayya spent time with me explaining all the results. Dr Shayya and his staff are excellent.

Dr. Shayya listened carefully to my concerns, and his recommendations were reassuring and useful. I left his office feeling much better informed and able to take constructive action.

Dr. Shayya has a Courteous and Professional Staff. PA, Vivian is very knowledgeable and explains everything in an easy to understand manner.

The folks at the front desk were very nice to work with. Vivian is very acknowledgeable and easy to talk to. Dr. Shayya is caring and helped a great deal. All in all, a very professional experience.

Both Dr Shayya and Vivian met with me for the first time and reviewed my issues and requested the prior imaging I have had done. They both seemed experienced and willing to help.

The PA, Vivian, is amazing. She communicates very well and explains her answers in a direct manner that reflects her knowledge base. Although my visit with Dr Shayya was brief he put me at ease with his relaxed manner. Bottom line: I was very impressed with his entire practice.

In April 2023 I had a major stroke while back visiting the east coast and ended up hospitalized for 8 days there. After I returned home I called Dr. Shyaah's office and they saw me within a couple of weeks and immediately scheduled a half dozen follow-up tests. It was the most comprehensive care I received since leaving the hospital. They had me do a follow up brain MRI this past Oct to make sure things still looked good. I highly recommend them as they were extremely thorough, both right after the stroke, as well as following up a year later to proactively monitor me post-stroke. I feel extremely confident in all aspects of their care!

The PA, Hania Alexander took a lot of time with us. She was patient, attentive and answered all of our questions. She then consulted with Dr. Shayya who came into the room and said after going over everything with the PA, I am going to order these tests to rule out Parkinson’s. We felt well cared for.

Dr. Luay Shayya and her medical staff provide exceptional and excellent care and are very professional and sensitive to my medical and neurological needs. I feel very comfortable and well taken care of and informed during my medical visits.

Dr. Shayya was compassionate, kind, knowledgeable and takes the time to listen. He is working with me to get me back to my normal self after my injury.

I get monthly injections for occipital neuralgia. Without them I would have nightly headaches. The care I receive is amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The whole atmosphere is friendly and helpful. Both Dr. Shayya and his P.A. Vivian Perlman have been thorough and proactive in diagnosis and treatments. It's always a great appointment every time.

Hania, PA,was helpful. The tests run and report were useful. Being promised hard copies of the test results, then being charged $35 for 'medical records' seemed a bit disingenuous. Plus, over 3 visits I saw the doctor for less than 2 minutes.
