Doctor Louis has truly helped me since 2011
Doctor Mudd has truly helped me since 2011. I’ve had prostate cancer surgery (2011) and 48 terrible radiation treatments for follow up for recurrence (2015). Dr. Mudd was there with me helping me to try make sense of things. My mother developed metastatic lung cancer, metastasized to brain and liver, her death was harsh. She was my best friend. Dr Mudd sat at funeral home with me to make sure I was ok. This guy is ok in my book. You take from an appointment with Dr. Mudd exactly what you are willing to share and let him try to help. You go in with an attitude or a defensive attitude then he can’t help. He try’s to tell you that healing comes from inside you, he can’t give it to you but you can find it if you look hard enough. I think Louis Mudd is an exemplary example of a physician who cares about people. WLKeown.

Before seeing Dr. Mudd in office I was a complete mess! He has helped me learn so much about myself and change so much within myself! I'd recommend him to anyone I know or don't know.

I completely disagree with the previous review on here for Dr. Mudd. I think he is a wonderful psychiatrist. I have been seeing him for about 3 years now. He is very empathetic and caring and he spends as much time with me as I need. There is a shortage of psychiatrists in South Central Kentucky. I believe that this explains why his office is so busy. Yes, I usually wait at least 45 minutes for my appointment, but the wait is totally worth it. He is the best psychiatrist I have ever been to.

Dr. Mudd is about getting as many people in and out as fast as possible. Like cattle through a chute. If you have an emergency, you are on your own. He never returns calls, no matter how urgent. Yes, he is nice, but the bottom line is that he cares more about your money than you. He only offers medication management, not all the things listed on here. He overbooks ALL THE TIME. I have waited up to two hours to get in for a 10 minute appt. Find a dr that really cares about YOU. He doesn't.
