I was in such distress when i got to the ER. I was having trouble breathing and was so weak.She was a breath of fresh air.So smart & the best bedside manner. She could tell right away whay my problem was and fixed it!! I left there feeling normal again.She's a miracle and DEFINITELY A GEM IN HOAG'S CROWN.10 STARS FOR LORI

She is a very competent and loving emergency doctor. She literally saved me from my two-week struggle with non-bacterial bladder inflammation. Before the emergency room visit, I went to the bathroom 30 - 40 times each day and was both mentally and physically strained. I tried urgent care visits, which treated my illness wrongly as a UTI. My family doctor did a whole bunch of useless tests and could not prescribe any treatments. Before the ER visit, I caught influenza and started to have a fever. Here I am, needing to drink enough fluids to counter the damage done by influenza, which made the symptoms of my bladder inflammation worse. I went into the ER at 2:00 am. She came in as an angel and saved me by prescribing an IV of both NSAID and Ty. The NSAID stopped the bladder inflammation without causing any stomach issues that usually come with oral NSAID, and I recovered from the influenza several days later.

Dr. Ludeman saw me for a ruptured appendix when I came to Hoag Irvine's ER. She was absolutely amazing and listened to my concerns. She is a ray of sunshine in what was a stressful situation for me. Since that initial visit, I have met other physicians but none have compared to Dr. Ludeman's kind bedside manner and intelligence. 5 stars!!!

The Dr. listened intently to me, never rushed out and treated me with tremendous respect. Dr. Ludeman explained all the tests she was doing and gave me results quickly. I was fortunate to have had her treat me and Hoag Hospital is fortunate to have her on their staff.

Six months ago, at Hoag Irvine, Dr Ludeman treated my daughter for complications from alcohol. Dr Ludemas knowledge mixed with kindness and stern advise saved with my daughter life. She has followed the Doctors advise, and know will celebrate six months of sobriety thanks to Dr Ludeman As her father, you have answered our prayers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Dr. Ludeman was the ER doc on call at Hoag Irvine. She was pleasant and courteous. She treated my elderly dad with respect even though he couldn’t understand due to the language barrier. Kudos to being kind when there are so much chaos in the world.

I didn't have the chance to tell her and I hope she can read this but dr Ludeman you are AWESOME. I just went out of the ER and despite the fact that I waited hours your good attention was great that I needed to write a review right away. Such a nice doctor!!!! Caring and thorough. She really had a good intend to work my well being. Thank you very much and I hope many other patients have the chance to be attended by you!
