Unless you are perfectly height/weight proportionate and white, I do not recommend that you choose Dr. Kaler as your physician. I went to her complaining of excessive bleeding with periods. After an ultrasound, she discovered fibroids and then asked ME (the patient) what I wanted to do about it. The first alternative she presented would have resulted in a loss of my fertility. When I asked her about other options, she shrugged her shoulders and mumbled that “losing weight would help.” Needless to say, I am no longer a patient with Dr. Kaler. My new physician - a woman of color - put me on a series of medication to help ease the bleeding and has scheduled surgery to remove my fibroids (without causing a loss of fertility). Very disturbed by the callous treatment of my condition. Do not recommend if you are a woman of color or woman of size.

I was treated like trash, like i was nothing to her but some money in her pocket. In the end, i just wanted to be on my way and go to another Dr. I asked her in a calm voice (even as upset as i was) if i could just get my chart/results. She asked why and I remained calm and just told her I was going to go to another doctor. No disdain or negative tone in my voice. She told me ""good luck finding a doctor who meets your needs because that is not how this field works". Obnoxious ego, nasty woman.

Yet another physican that refuses to speak directly with a patient. Instead of having the office assistant relay message after message, pick of the phone and speak to the patient yourself.
