Dr Tan, five star doctor
Dr. Tan is always available and easy to talk to, her compassion and intelligence on all matters of medicine is comforting and she follows up diligently. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Tan for nine years and will follow her until he retires, which we hope never happens.

Fantastic Doctor
It took me years to find the right doctor. Now I found her Dr. Tan. She is an example of a great respectful person and she listens to everything you have to say. Dr Tan is up on new medications and procedures. I could go on and on about how fantastic she is and her staff too.

Compassionate and dedicated doctor
I am a patient of Dr. Lorena Tan for many years. She is a very caring and thorough doctor. I was able to make an appointment with her without delay was because Dr. Tan wants to treat patients as soon as possible to prevent their conditions from getting worse. She sympathized with her patients because of her personal experience. Her late mother who lived in Southern California had to wait one to two months for her doctor's appointment. Her condition got worse because of the delay in her treatment. She doesn't want this to happen to her patients. I am verry blessed to have Dr. Tan as my primary doctor.

On 1/3/22 I had an appointment with Dr. Tan. She diagnosed me with a mild TBI. I asked her for nausea meds, a note from her with after care suggestions that she stated in visit, and for her office to fax the neurologist referral over to the proper department. Outcome Dr. Tan Stated that she did not want to prescribe me any meds that would mask my symptoms, she denied writing a Dr. Note that supported her after care suggestions/ diagnosis stating “have the neurologist write the note”. When I inquired about the fax referral her office said there working on it (5 days after the visit). For a person suffering from severe nausea, chronic headaches, and facial lacerations with stitches I can’t express how disappointed I am in my care. Think twice before choosing Dr. Tan as your medical provider .

Dr. Tan never thought that I would order my own med records and read her subjective opinions about me. She wrote that I thought she was an orthopedist and seemed angry when she said she had a family practice. She told a bizzare tale about my previous PCP interactions. She "diagnosed" me with Crohns', hypertension, diabetes and more. This is an example of upcoding--please Google Stanford Loses Federal Appeal for [upcoding] Billing Practices...Dr. Tan prescribed medications for these fake billable diseases. First, do no harm.

Dr Tan is a nice and healthy elocution Doctor overall. I was her patient for a few years. However, she abandoned me during a significant health crisis. Instead of trying to get me help, she just dropped me from her practice via a letter. I was crushed and felt absolutely abandoned. She didn’t discuss any of her concerns in advance or offer to find me a different doctor or advanced treatment. As someone who is now past those struggles, I think she should be ashamed of herself for abandoning me.

Dr. Tan is a wonderful doctor. Very caring, patient, and punctual. She's done a great job for my family, and even caught a serious condition that my husband had developed without him displaying obvious symptoms.
