Dr. Loren Greene, MD

She doesn't take insurance. I had to verify that I saw this doctor, but I didn't. I cannotafford her. I have double insurance and apparently it's not good enough. Guess she'sjust for rich people

I absolutely recommend Dr Greene who was my doctor for 30 years. ‘However over the corse of a year I developed an allergy to levothyroxine which is the ingredient of Synthroid the major remedy for hypothyroid. Finally I reviewed the allergy on the Mayo website and yes i belonged. Dr Greene I concluded assumed I was being adversarial and or wanted a medication that was more avant guard. Finally I tried a few other medications with another endocrinologist who over time has given me support. I settled on Armor Thyroid and am doing the bloodwork currently to work on the exact dosage.

Dr Greene is an exceptional doctor. She is thorough, she is caring, she follows up and she spends as much time with you as you need. A dying breed, infortunately. I cannot recommend her enough.

Dr Greene is a very good doctor but terrible at follow up. She never gets back to you about lab test results even when phoned often. Her staff is hopeless as well. She really needs to work on this as it makes me want to change to a more accessible doctor.
