I have been seeing Dr. Barenbom for at least ten years. He is extremely thorough and listens intently on what you have to say. He explains things very well. I trust him 100%. He always takes plenty of time with you. I never wait long to get in to see him, once I am at his office. The staff in his offices are second to none. Literally some of the best I have seen anywhere. I highly recommend him.

Being in my early 30s and having something come up with my heart was pretty terrifying (luckily it’s nothing major and I’ll be fine). Dr. Berenbom is excellent! He explains things thoroughly, takes his time, has a good sense of humor, will answer any question you may have, is very reassuring, he won’t over-medicate you and orders all necessary tests and whatever else is needed to ease your mind. For my first cardiologist, I couldn’t happier. His support staff at KU office is also amazing.

I have been seeing Dr. Barenbom over the last 4-5 years. Just recently I have been treated by Barenbom due to my ongoing heart issues. He provides great care, explains issues in a way that I can understand them and includes me in deciding how to proceed with my health care needs. I am particularly pleased with his availability at night to take my calls and even called me at night even though he was not on call that night. I am happy to have him as my go-to cardiologists for electrophysiology.
