Over generalized care and unprofessional
Dr. Lin at the Kaiser Milpitas clinic provided dismissive and inadequate care during my high-risk pregnancy. She repeatedly gave generalized responses to my concerns and failed to take my condition seriously. Most concerning, she did not follow proper medical protocols and responded unprofessionally when I sought care. As a lifelong Kaiser member, I expected better treatment. Instead, I felt unheard, unsafe, and disrespected. I am now seeking care elsewhere and hope Kaiser addresses this lack of professionalism to prevent harm to other patients.

Condescending and dismissive
Overall felt disrespected and dismissed. During a visit about peeing too much, I suggested, after ruling out UTIs or bladder problems, that could it possibly be an ovarian cyst pressing on the bladder since I had read that was a possibility of the cyst got big enough online. When I asked that she said very condescendingly if I knew where the bladder and uterus was. Even if I didn't, there's no need to condescend to your patients like that when I'm just trying to rule out this possibility and you can simply educate your patients like you should without being dismissive.

Very disappointed with this MD. I’m new with Kaiser and chose this OB last year. I’m already in my 40 and got pregnant last year to be told by this MD that am too old to be pregnant. I talked to her once over the phone and told her that I started spotting she told me that there’s nothing we can do if I’ll have miscarriage and unfortunately I did, it happened at work., my colleagues had to wheeled me to our ED at my workplace Im an RN. Now I’m 12 weeks pregnant and for some reason I did not change her as my OB. Currently experiencing hyperemesis, over fatigue and drowsiness, other OB prescribed me with reglan as she is unavailable all the time but it didn’t work as I cant hold down any liquid or food. I asked her if I can have letter for work so my manager can take me off from work using my PTO, I was told by her RN that Dr. Lin will not provide letter as I dont have sign of dehydration. Since last year I did not get to see this MD as she is unavailable always. I changed my OB.

Fine as a gynecologist if you have minimal issues to address. She's very conversational and tries to keep things casual. Bedside manner was lacking as an obstetrician. Really dismissed my worries when I tried to tell her how difficult my pregnancy was. Made comments about how as Asians, we were more likely to worry and get stressed. Did not help me navigate thru KP to get the help I needed. Ending up switching doctors since it caused me extra stress and anxiety to work with her.
