Dr. Long-Gue Hu, MD

Dr. Hu was the doctor working the shift at JCMC when I had my baby in the fall of 2024. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very patient. My contractions were far apart during the final stages of pushing and he encouraged me to keep calm and only push they came in. I'm a ftm and ended up only having a minor internal tear (I believe) due to this. There were also a group of residents and a midwife assisting my delivery, but it was clear they all looked for Dr. Hu for decision making and guidance. Overall very pleased with my delivery experience and glad Dr. Hu was my doctor.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Hu as our obstetrician-gynecologist. He is highly knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Throughout our pregnancy, we felt completely safe and comfortable with him. Since this was our first baby, he had ample time to answer all of our incessant questions. If you are fortunate enough to have him as your OBGYN, rest assured that you are in good hands.

Worst experience ever. He recommended pain medications to my 17 years old daughter. Yea you having pain because of cysts take pain medications. You are late take pain medication. And asking questions such as who send you to hospital for ultrasound and why have been going to ultrasound so many time. Don't worry those are just cysts take pain medications, you are to young to be seriously ill. Take pain medications those would help you with your pain. What kind of doctor.

Dr Hu delivered my baby and I still cannot get over the trauma of what he did to me. He was abusive. He screamed at me while in contractions, made 0 explanations of what and why he was doing, and performed an episiotomy without notifying me, as if it was 1950. It was almost 4 years ago and I am still hurting by what he did to me. Stay away if you can.

Dr. Hu delivered my baby via C-section. Without him, there would have been serious complications and unnecessary prolonged labor. He saved my life and my baby's life.
