Dr. Liza Moore, MD

I read reviews prior that Dr. Moore would rush appointments, but was surprised at exactly how rushed it was. She was halfway out the door after two minutes and was very short in answering the 2-3 questions I had about my skin. She didn't even ask me if I had any overall concerns or inquire about my skincare routine.

Dr. Moore has terrible bed side service..

I had multiple visits at this practice. All the appointments very rushed and lasted approximately 10 mins. The doctor seems fine. Medical staff did not remove some stitches completely, so while it was not a serious issue, I can’t recommend them. Also note that they expect payment in full at the following visit even if it is just a week later without even sending you a bill in the mail or giving you a statement. Parking is extremely limited. Paid parking is available but runs $10 an hour!

5/5 for skin cancer screening, 0/5 for telling me I had mild rosacea without asking any questions about my medical history or skincare routine when I actually have eczema and sensitive skin, and recently used a product too harsh for my face. The irritation is barely noticeable and getting clearer every day, I do not have rosacea. Also, instead of explaining rosacea and offering any treatment options to keep it from getting worse, she tried to sell me expensive treatment for the few fine lines on my forehead. I'm 22 and there are a million other options I will try before that, thanks. Overall I felt very brushed off by her. I waited in the waiting room for 40 minutes, was with her for about 10. Other staff are very friendly and nice, but I do not intend to go back to this establishment.

Dr. Liza Moore is a great dermatologist. All of the staff are nice and friendly. The office is up to date. The services and medical advice are good.

Dr. Moore and her staff provide exceptional care. From the moment of calling to schedule an appointment to being serviced in the office, I was thoroughly impressed. This practice was the ONLY office that answered their phone. It is comforting to make an appointment with an actual person rather than being forwarded to a voicemail. They were considerate of my needs and concerns. It was clear that the office used COVID precautions and practiced social distance. I had my baby with me and was provided a private area to wait and comfortably nurse my child. Dr. Moore was patient, asked questions and demonstrated genuine concern for my needs. She is knowledgeable and eased my anxiety about my skin concerns. Of note, Dr. Moore was able to provide me with care considering my needs as a nursing mother. I look forward to returning and highly recommend this practice.

She explained things to where I understood what the issue was and gave me options to treat my concerns. Very friendly as well.

Saw Dr. Moore for an annual skin check. She is diligent and spends time making sure she has a complete medical picture before she prescribes medication. She was on time to the appointment. She saw our minor daughter the same day. Explained everything to us and my daughter was not worried by any part of the exam.

Had been meaning to see a dermatologist for a number of years, not necessarily because I had anything wrong, but just that it was something I should do. Well my daughter-in-law recommended the office, so I made an appointment, well rather my wife did, and very happy I went. It was more or less luck that my appointment was with Dr Lisa McClellan-Moore, she made me fill very comfortable right away and didn't rush thru my exam, and even told me I looked much younger than my actual age. So all in all, a great experience and I would highly recommend Dr Lisa McClellan-Moore, who by the way is leaving the Centreville VA office to open her new office in Tysons Corner VA. Good luck doc!
