In my first video visit with Dr. Lao was thorough, caring, knowledgeable, and professionally pleasant. Consequently, I'm reassured my heart, arteries, and stents in good hands. If an appointment with your cardiologist can be enjoyable, this was it.

Dr. Yao took the time to review my chart and summarized what happened in the last 12 months. She ordered the necessary test to determine the efficacy of the new medication. She listened to my concerns about my prior medication. She took the time to answer my questions about the potential adverse side effects on my heart if I undergo hormone treatment for my prostate cancer. She translated the medical terms that I did not understand into layman's language. She has excellent bedside manner. She listened.
