I have been seeing Dr Wischusen for almost a year
I am familiar with mental disorders and I know this doctor has humility, patience and knowledge that exceeds expectations. She took time to listen she did not rush me and she believed in me and trusted me. I had worked with many psychiatrists in mental health and she has impressed me because she is willing to respect patient input . Negative ratings are due to ignorance and drug seeking behaviors of those who want pills to numbed their reality.

She has been an absolute lifesaver for me. She’s never treated me like a drug seeking addict, she’s treated me like a human being suffering from addiction and mental illness. I wish I had found her years ago because it probably would have saved me a lot of heartache. The bad reviews she gets are probably from addicts pissed off she won’t write them narcotics.

Dr. Wischhusen is a psychiatrist at Greer MHC. She appears to have a god complex and thinks she can determine a person's mental competency in 30 mins. She is unwilling to consider that she may be wrong at times, due to something called-human error. It would be nice if the pride was tempered with humility. Any family seeking help for your loved one, steer them away from this psychiatrist and Greer mental health in general.
