I used her for years, loved seeing her
I haven’t been to Dr. Weidner at her new location, but I used to see her at a UPMC facility. I had several injections for my lower spine. She was always pleasant, understanding, not judgmental. I really liked her a lot. Then she changed locations and my back pain improved to the point where I didn’t need the injections. she’s now at a new location but I’m thinking about going back for another injection.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Weidner?
After 4 spine fusions and about 15 years of pain meds, my PCP thought I should check in with a pain doctor. On my first appt. with Dr. Weidner, she entered the exam room screaming at me because she checked the database and found that a prescription (of mine) was filled TWO DAYS LATE. I tried to explain that it was because the pharmacy was out of the medication and had to order it. My PCP was absolutely furious with her. He told me that he'd never refer a patient to her again. She has no business practicing medicine with her issues. A mentally healthy person doesn't behave that way. Avoid her at any cost.

Dr. Weidner was so kind and knowledgeable today at my first appointment. She listened to my injury, my concerns without me ever feeling rushed. Her office staff were all so kind and caring! No one made fun of me for my nervousness around doctors, and everyone put me at ease. I am relieved someone finally cares about helping me manage the pain, as i have been dealing with my disc injury for 13 years! I have a fusion in my neck and nerve damage from a car accident.
