Kind and Caring Doctor
I have very bad anxiety about doctors and medical procedures. Dr Mathew eased so much anxiety for me just at my first visit. She took the time to listen and acknowledge my anxiety and reassure me about the concerns I had. She explained everything throughly. She is extremely kind, caring and compassionate. I did not feel rushed during my appointment at all. Truly the best experience I have had at a doctors office. I know I will be in good hands for the procedures I have scheduled with Dr. Mathew in the near future. Her office staff is also wonderful.

I am so grateful to have finally found Dr. Lisa Mathew!! I have had Celiac disease for approx 20 years and had been having lots of problems. Other Dr's were not helping me find exactly what was going on or what to do about my symptoms. Dr. Mathew did a scope and found that I had collagenous collitis, put me on medication and things really began turning around for me. When I could no longer take the steroid she had prescribed she changed my medications to something I could be on long term and on these medications I have continued to make improvements. She has continued to follow me and support me. I feel the best I have felt for more than 7 years, with more quality of life and less discomfort. She would get my vote for having great knowledge but also excellent patient support and care!! Thank you!!! C in Johnstown, CO.

My experience with Dr Mathew was entirely positive. I had a routine five-yearly colonoscopy, and I found the office very professional and responsive in the preparation up to the procedure. Dr Mathew asked about my past history, since this was my fourth colonoscopy (previously out of state), and was interested in my family history. She explained the procedure and afterwards, summarized the findings. The whole experience was positive, and the service was professional and attentive.

I have been to several doctors for my Ulcerative Colitis and the others had given up on finding an oral medication and were suggesting I start giving myself injections (which came with some pretty nasty side effects). Dr. Mathew was very interested in the treatments I had tried (both with other doctors and on my own) and was invested in my health enough to try other less life altering solutions. She prescribed an oral medication which completely suppressed my colitis and had no side-effects! I'm very happy with my experience with Dr Mathew and would fully recommend her to anyone in my situation.

I am in my 60's and quite healthy. I have finally gone for my first colonoscopy. I did not consider it necessary prior to this visit, also my wife is an RN, so I've listened to many stories in the health field. To say I was apprehensive is an understatement. The team of Dr. Mathew was great. Their care, professionalism, insight, and their manner was excellent. Dr. Mathew put my mind at ease with her confidence, knowledge and taking enough time to answer all my questions. Excellent!!!

I have seen multiple gastroenterologists over the past few years seeking treatment for IBS symptoms that started after a camping illness. Dr Mathew is the first to truly seem interested and invested in finding a solution. We must have discussed history for an hour at my first visit and she is very open with discussing possibilities, options, etc. I can't recommend her more.
