Cancels appts without notifying you
I scheduled an appointment 7 months in advance with this provider. After waiting 5 months, I noticed that my appointment was no longer on my calendar. Apparently she had reviewed my chart and took it upon herself to cancel my appointment without discussing it with me or even notifying me that the appointment was cancelled. I was forced to schedule this appointment 7 months in advance and now I cannot even be seen because she decided to drop my case without even speaking to me.

Dr. Lystad is amazing! She listened to me for a considerable amount of time and never made me feel rushed. She gave me more information than all of the neurologists and ophthalmologists that I have seen combined. I wish she was local but I am willing to make the drive because her care is so patient focused.

By the time we had got to Dr. Lystad, we had seen several ophthalmologists, none of whom were able to give us either a clear diagnosis or explanation as to what was going on. Dr. Lystad impressed us in every possible way. She has a wonderful and engaging bedside manner, takes the time to explain thoroughly everything about your diagnosis, and amazingly intellectual. Watching her coach two younger doctors was terrific: extremely confident and relaxed, but never smug. We can't say enough!
