Dr Johnson is very understanding & considerate to my needs. She always enters the room with a smile & never rushes the appointment!! I highly recommend her and her partner, Dr Denise Elser-Poulos. They are amazing!!

I was under Dr. Johnson treatment for over a year with NO relief! I was in so much pain and barely able to get through day-to-day tasks! Every day I was in pain for over a year and was told by the Dr. Johnson that all I could do is continue to use the prescription ointment for relief. I was told the I would get relief and there wouldn’t be any pain from the procedure and the exact opposite happened I was in so much pain! When I went back for follow-ups every time I was told by Dr. Johnson all they could do is another type of procedure to see if that would help with the pain. After a year and two months of being under treatment with Dr. Johnson and hundreds of dollars spent on prescription ointments and procedures and no relief I left that office and never returned. I found a new doctor who told me about my pelvic floor muscle in the importance of it and how to strengthen it doing workouts and exercise! And it worked within 30 days my pain was GONE!

Dr johnson was very dismissive of my 88 year old mother. She offered minimal ideas for treatment of bladder rebtion...and said “I’m only a second opinion. Go back to your other doctor.” I asked all the questions and she gave short replies. And she had a cloth mask, not even medical grade. Thumbs down.

Read the other reviews and I honestly wonder what the negative reviewers expected and presented to the Doctor My experience with Doctor Johnson was wonderful She explained what to expect and what would enhance positive results Thanks to her I no longer get up to urinate 4 to times a night

I have found Dr. Lisa Johnson to be extremely knowledgeable, very compassionate and truly caring. She has made me feel so completely at ease when discussing my issues at what most find to be rather uncomfortable. The entire staff at WHII are also quite exceptional and are very accommodating and make you feel really comfortable.

Dr. Johnson is a wonderful doctor. She just did pelvic reconstruction surgery for me that I’d been putting off for years. My recovery has been amazing due to her skills and knowledge. I would put my life in her hands again.

Dr Johnson misdiagnosed me with urinary incontinence when I really had CANCER. Had she really listened to my description of symptoms I believe I wouldn't have wasted six months treating a relatively minor condition and possibly my tumor would not have been so invasive. Her bedside manner is also lacking. After delivering the proper diagnosis she refused to answer any questions and kept saying "that's a question for the oncologist".

I chose this practice based on the level of care & services described on their website. I wanted to get established with a specialist as my symptoms are sporadic and unpredictable. After 3.5 weeks waiting for an appointment my symptoms cleared but I kept my appointment. I would not recommend this practice and more importantly this physician. She came off uncaring & bewildered as to why I was even there. I told her she acted as if I shouldn't even be there. Find a good Dr, save your $ here.

If you are looking for a doctor who specializes in pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, look no further. Dr. Johnson is professional, competent, compassionate, patient, knowledgeable, talented and attentive. The list is endless. I highly recommend her. I feel very fortunate to have found a doctor who took the time to discuss my fears and options. She is an amazing doctor with a special gift. Thank You Dr. Johnson!

I saw Dr Johnson at Women's Health Institute in Oak Lawn. the brand new office is gorgeous with plenty of parking (rare in Oak Lawn). the front desk staff and Medical assistants were so kind. Dr. Johnson was kind, thorough and patient. I never felt rushed. She explained everything very thoroughly. although, no one ever wants to go see a gynecologist, the whole team made this a pleasant experience. I know I picked the right Doctors for my incontinence problem.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Lisa Labin Johnson to friends and family. Women's Health Institute of Illinois is a comfortable environment with a friendly and helpful staff. During my first appointment I was processed through within minutes and I saw the doctor shortly thereafter. Dr. Labin Johnson was professional, caring, explained everything clearly, she made me feel at ease in what would normally be a very stressful situation.
