Dr. Lisa Hearing, MD

She’s great for annual check ups and pregnancies. However, if you’re an adult who doesnt want children she still won’t sterilize you. So back in December I bought up wanting this. She said she would think about it and if she wouldn’t do it I get a referral. I said I wanted it done in March. I call in March. The person who picked up the phone said she didn’t do surgeries and I would get a call back. They never called me back. So I make an appointment in June determined to leave with either a yes or a referral. After advocating for myself she agrees. She tells me when she does her surgeries and what to expect. She tells me I’ll get a call to schedule. A week goes by, no call so I call to check up on where I am in the process. Nobody knows what I’m talking about which means it’s probably not on file. I email her. She calls me to say she changed her mind. Her reasoning could have been bought up at the appointment I paid for. Had me waiting in anticipation a week for an imaginary surgery.

I have been going to Dr. Lisa for all of my pregnancies and I’m about to have my third child with her in the next four weeks. Over and over I continue to feel prioritized, known and cared for by the staff. Jeff, Teresa, Liz, and Dr. Lisa go above and beyond to make sure their patients are cared for and I would highly recommend this team to anyone with OB needs. I love that I get to see the same people every single time, and I am not just going through a conveyor belt of random doctors who do not know me or my situation. I feel very known and cared for in this place, and am so glad to have found them!

I entered my OBGYN office today, Dr. Lisa Hearing to have my annual exam. Upon entering the office I noticed that both receptionists (male & female) were not wearing masks and that a person (I assume) a patient, he was not wearing a mask either and I ask “ why are you guys not wearing masks in here”. I was told that “we have been vaccinated and do not have to wear a mask thanks to our great governor Ron De Santis”. I told them that masks were still mandated in Palm Beach County and that was against the law and that being a medical facility that they still need to accommodate safe health care for those who are not vaccinated. At this point the female did put her mask on. I was then met with a political dissertation, from the male, of why they do not have to wear masks and that they are protected by governor De Santis because these laws cannot be enforced. I ask to speak with Dr. Hearing and was told she was with a patient. I told them that I would wait and the male told me to leave.

My daughter was a previous patientof Dr. Hearing but somehow for my daughters very first maternity visit, they could not decide if she had been a previous patient. This was my daughter's first ever maternity visit and they just ruined the whole experience. What should have been exciting and joyous was tearful and embarassing for me to have suggested my daughter go back to her for this. They (the man in charge of billing) decided he was my healthcare provider and chose to charge us the deductable, plus decided once we got there that she would have to pay a new client fee, and claimed to be "specialists"which is why they could charge all these fees. Once my daughter finally got in, when she gave a urine sample there was urine dripping all down the inside and front of the box. The receptionist wore her mask under her nose the entire time and we did get a check back from them that the insurance co made them pay back, but it doesn't change the fact they ruined what shouldve been a fun day.

The office staff (aside from Liz who is very kind) is horrible. They are MONEY hungry and totally unreasonable. I was overcharged for EVERY visit and then had to be refunded after insurance cleared. On another note, Dr. Hearing sent me in for SURGERY at the hospital that was pointless and unsuccessful.

Great! I have been going to Dr. Hearing for over 20 years. She’s concerned, never rushes and never overschedules!

Really would have liked to continue seeing this doctor but her scheduling and office team are very unorganized. I orginally made an apt in early January, they could not get me in for one month. My appt came and the doctor cancelled. The office never called to advise of the cancellation. I scheduled an apt for 2 weeks out, when they called to confirm my apt, it was scheduled for the wrong date and they could not get me in for another month. I have to go see another doctor as a result.

Dr. Hearing has been my ob/gyn for at least 25 years. She has the ability to listen and believe what her patients say. I never feel rushed during an appointment. I highly recommend her.

I have been with dr Hearing since I was in high school and I absolutely love her and the staff. I'm now 33. Great bed side manner, always polite to her pts. I Truely recommend her.

I have been having some difficulty and went to Dr Hearing for a second opinion. What a thorough and thoughtful Doctor and staff. They run an 'on time' office and always greet you with a friendly smile. They are completely concerned with your well-being; I am very happy with Dr Lisa Hearing.

Love her officer and her staff is GREAT!!!!
