Impacted my quality of life negatively
In about 30 seconds, the made a decision in opposition to my endocrinologist decision that will make my life miserable from now on. Probably did it in less than 30 seconds.

Not working in patients’ interests
This is the doctor that declined my endocrinologist’s prior authorization request to the insurance company to cover my insulin, a LIFE-SUSTAINING DRUG. Thank you, Dr. Clemons, for taking 30 seconds max to make a decision on behalf of Big Pharma that will tremendously impact my quality of life. I hope you experience the same level of treatment one day.

I wish I would’ve read the reviews on this doctor before going to her. She was rude I was rushed she changed my medicine without telling me. She treated me badly during a well med exam that she did not do . She is not honest when I asked her for my records she told me I would have to come in we don’t put them in your my chart. When I asked her for my labs and info She basically blew me off after she got paid.No I would never recommend the doctor to anyone!

Refused to give me a referral to allergist or an epi-pen prescription despite my obvious food allergy. You can guess how that went.

All visits were awful. I kept trying to forgive each atrocious visit. I’m pretty sure ARC is removing negative feedback. She’s dismissive, rude, fat shaming, and racist. She also alluded to the fact that I was exaggerating my illness and assumed it was because I was overweight.

I would give negative stars if I could. Don't waste your time or money going to see her or with ARC. She saw me for five minutes, told me I was making up all my back pain, and sent me a bill for $150. ARC deletes all the negative reviews of her on the arc website and writes in their own positive ones. If you check them out, they literally all sound written by the same nurse. The reason it's so easy to get an appointment with her is because she sucks. Seriously, why go into this field if you don't even care about your patients? Must be the money she and that clinic gouges. I really wish I hadn't gone.

I came to her 3 times with vaginal pain, tearing, itching. She was extremely dismissive and told me it wasn't a big deal (later diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosus by a dermatologist). I told I was waking up at night crying from the pain and she recommended applying Talcum Powder to my vagina. That only made the problem worse AND increases ovarian cancer. When she finally took the time for an evaluation after I suggested Lichen Sclerosus, she said verbatim "I see a small amount but you are too young so I am not diagnosing you." She did not recommend seeing a specialist - are you kidding me? She always has tons of appointments available because no patient wants to see her but you'll have better luck waiting for a professional and caring physician. A dear friend of mine also went to her with back pain and she basically told her it was female hysteria - it's all in your head.

Dismissive & Condescending – Feb 06, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Clemons?
I have never had a more negative experience with a doctor. Leaving her office, I felt dismissed, ridiculous, unheard, and that I wasted her time. Additionally, there seemed to be an expectation I speak medical terminology fluently and a resulting disdain for my lack of knowledge in this area. Seeing the other ratings, I fully agree she does not reflect any compassion or concern for her patients and, indeed, made me feel as if I was an inconvenience to her.

I saw Dr. Clemons for continuing care with multiple problems. Though I have had gout for 5 years with multiple attacks she would not prescribe the medicine that I am already on for it. She said she would order the labs first for cholesterol as I am cholesterol meds and then did not order them! She is dismissive, judgmental and rude. She inferred that I was a drug user. She was cold and had a terrible bedside manner. Dr. Clemons, if you are reading this, I would suggest you either get another job elsewhere like in administration, prisons or find another residency like pathology. You simply are not good with people and how you got thru your residency is a mystery to me.

Pretty sure ARC only posts the positive reviews and removes negative reviews about this Dr because there is no way in hell she is almost 5 stars. She’s not even 1 Star! I had the worst experience with her. She totally lacks empathy! I am still trying to figure out how she became a doctor in the first place. She wouldn’t let me get a word in and treated me like an inconvenience. None of my issues that I came in for were resolved. Don’t make an appointment with this doctor because you will leave the office feeling very frustrated. Probably the worst experience I’ve had so far with any doctor at ARC. I’ve worked in the medical field for many years and I have never seen such a nut case. She had very bad bedside manner...and that’s an understatement.

Judgmental & Self Righteous - First two words that came to mind; I came in with a giant bruise on my forehead and two black eyes from tripping on my dogs and hitting the wall face first. I had gone to the ER and had a CAT scan but after 4 days my neck and back were killing me and I couldn't sleep. I called and specifically told the nurse I was coming in to get pain meds. I get there and this woman snidely says, she "only precribes pain meds for broken bones" and acts as if I'm faking to get medicine. Doesn't bother to look and see the last time I had pain meds was 2+ yrs earlier when I had major surgery. She offered me muscle relaxers and I could "take two, it will knock you out" so I could get some sleep. Then didn't even send in the prescription to the pharmacy. I should have read the reviews, it would have saved me a lot of time and angst. What a joke.

Frustrating. Dr Clemmons was not very understanding. I wasn't feeling well and thus was teary eyes and upset. She actually was hostile and rude. When I started crying she actually opened the door and stated she didn't feel safe or comfortable. Was the worst Dr appointment I've had in quite a while. She has terrible bedside manner to not be able to handle an upset not feeling well patient. She made me feel like crap. I actually went home and cried.

I scheduled a visit with Dr. Clemons because my my primary doctor was unavailable. My father had recently passed of a pulmonary embolism and we have a long history if heart disease in my family. I scheduled the appointment to discuss my cardiac health and do lab work if necessary. Dr. Clemons came into the room and proceeded to berate me: "idk why you're even here or what you want from me. You're too young for this. I cant justify these tests". I could barely get a word in and left in tears.

I have to agree with the other reviewers and say that my recent appointment with Dr. Clemons was terrible. I would rather have been treated by the kind medical student who started my appointment. I went in for an annual check-up and to get lab work for a medical clearance. Not only did the appointment take over 1.5 hours, but I left without orders to check my cholesterol or ANY discussion about my health. I only received frustration for being without a paper copy of my vax records.

I went to her for the first time to get my prescriptions refilled and bring up concerns about my health. The resident spent most of the time with me, asking questions, assessing, and taking down my info. Then Dr. Clemons came in, spent 2 minutes talking at me, and left. When I went to pick up my prescriptions she had increased my dosages without notifying me. She has been impossible to get a hold of to clarify the issue with my prescriptions and refuses to admit she made a medication error.

She was finally able to come in after a lengthy wait (at least 20 minutes). The Resident asked all the questions, then conferred with her outside the room. She came in for one short exam. Then she said Excuse me, I have to go...If you need more questions answered ask him(the resident). She was with me 10 minutes tops. Overall bad experience She needs to stop and remember what being a doctor and seeing patients individually really means. I feel she may have forgotten that. Not going back to her.
