The Best Doctor Hands Down
I first met Dr. Chaiken in 2003 and have never experienced such a caring, compassionate and supportive doctor in my life. When she moved on to her present position outside of California it felt like I lost a close friend and a part of me. I would turn to her even now if I ever needed advice in a situation that was dire and I knew I needed the best possible person on my side. Fair winds and following seas. She will be sorely missed here on the left coast.

Great doctor
Dr Chaiken is kind, thorough, and extremely smart. She has a deep knowledge of her field and listens carefully, too. I have come to trust her completely, which has helped a great deal as I had real trepidation about going through radiation five days a week for twenty days. Her staff, too, is kind and thoughtful. If you have to go through this, you will be extremely lucky to have her as your doctor.

I love this Doctor!
Just finished my radiation on 4/7/22 which was overseen by Dr. Lisa Chaiken. This doctor is a gem! Very experienced, very sweet, kind, speak clearly and has a lot of patience. I like to ask questions re my DX and future treatment. She's given me suggestions including the type of cream to use and other options to heal the "radiation burned area" sooner. She always takes the time answering my questions and did not feel rushed at all. I trusted her so much, and that will surely follow her advices. I wish she could be my PCP so i can always consult w/ her. I will definitely recommend Dr. Chaiken esp for Cancer patients. Make no mistake, she's the best Radiation Oncologist in town! In addition, she has an excellent office team and staff at City of Hope - SO, that shows the kind of leader leads this place!
