Dr. Lisa Benest, MD

Dr. Lisa is an extraordinary doctor and woman. She takes her time with each patient, never rushing, and truly listens to your concerns. Her compassion and respect are evident in every interaction, and her extensive knowledge spans many healing modalities. Dr. Lisa's approach addresses the root cause of issues rather than applying a one-size-fits-all band-aid solution. I would recommend her a trillion times over.

I drive all the way from Ventura County to see dr. Benest for my annual skin cancer screening after seeing a dermatologist in network who I felt dismissed my concerns. Dr. Benest is very helpful and professional as is her staff. Parking is also easy at her office.

Dr was fine except she told the nurse my diagnosis before discussing it with me & never actually addressed me about it. Office staff wanted immediate payment before i left the office where other doctors would wait to see what the insurance pays out before charging you the difference. So ofcourse I overpaid. Still waiting for a refund.

I had a noon appointment with them (would've been my first) today. I came in at 11:40am, knowing that I needed to fill out paperwork. At 12:50pm, I finally gave up. After the woman who showed up at 12:15pm for her noon appointment went in before me, that was where my patience ended. When I explained that I had been waiting for over an hour, they didn't seem to really care. I then said, "I'm no longer interested in being your customer, will I be charged for cancelling my appointment today?"

I came for a cancer screening (100% covered by my insurance) The screening took less than ONE MINUTE. I had a dark spot on my forehead that I told her I was concerned about and she said she could freeze it off real quick. She pulled out a freeze can & sprayed it (20 seconds). They charged $125 for a NEW CLIENT & $191 for surgery. I called & said this is a cancer screening - you can't bill me & they said they don't bill preventative care. This is gouging. Do not go here, they will milk you.

Dr. Benest is very knowledgeable. I never felt like she was rushing me. She asked a lot of questions regarding my concerns and through our conversation was able to recommend additional supplements. I liked her holistic approach.

Dr. Benest is nice.... But DO NOT do Cool Sculpting!!!! It is a complete waste of money!!! It is very difficult to communicate with anyone in this office. They are never available, and rarely get back to you. Very disappointing.
