Dr. Lisa Ann Robinson, DO

My experience with Dr. Lisa Robinson has been unique because she is one of the rare doctors who provides psychotherapy in addition to medication management. Thus, I often benefited from our sessions regardless of the medications I was taking. The dynamics of Lisa's therapeutic approach resonated with me, as I often reflected upon useful tools that I learned when I was struggling to get through the day. Lisa took the time to listen and provide gentle guidance and validation, as well as being forthright when I needed it. In addition, Lisa's knowledge of psychology, family, culture, medicine and biology was impressive and it often helped me build an effective and caring therapeutic relationship with her. Lisa was always available to talk to me outside of office hours if I needed the support to help me overcome adversity.

Patient, kind, knowledgeable

Dr Cosgrove is a kind practitioner and was a big help when I had a couple of deaths in my family and stress at work. She helped me work through the things that were causing me stress and within a year I was back t myself. I am thankful to have found her when I needed to work through my grief.

After less than three minutes on the phone with me, Dr Cosgrove must have presumed to know exactly who I am and that I have obviously been misdiagnosed by previous doctors, and said, "I am not the psychiatrist for you. Someone else will have to prescribe your stimulants for you." My stimulants? Just because I've been on medication doesn't mean I'm not open to other methods of treatment, but she'd never know that, as she wrote me off before ever taking the time to know me. Rude. No compassion.

Personality of a cold sore. She literally erupts, there is a brief period of calming and she erupts again. She violates the basic rights of patients to be treated with dignity. I needed to get my prescriptions refilled and called her. She immediately told me that other doctors had not properly diagnosed me and that she would not be refilling my prescription. When I met with her she asked every probing question possible. Then she suddenly got angry! Not Professional.

First time meeting a provider that I felt hope with, she listened, made suggestions and comments that made sense which gave me trust in her, her knowledge is above average, wow- I am so lucky that I have found her, with healthcare mental health being so overwhelming out there and overworked, I didn't feel that with her...she wasn't rushing to get me out of her office for the next patient...
