Dr. Linsey Etherington, MD

I had a double mastectomy and reconstruction. She messed up my reconstruction and caused major deformation, excessive loose skin all over my breasts due to her choosing a smaller implant then what was required and asked for. I have large indentations around breasts, implants fall into my armpits when laying down which completely exposes my sternum and leaves empty flat space around my sternum. I can stick my fingers under my implant and grab it and I have fat pockets under my armpits that she caused. She did a revision and only filled in the indentations slightly which didn't resolve the issue. She also lied in my charts by saying I was happy with my results when all I did was complain and ask her to fix it. I was also told that I have no say in my reconstruction, that it's up to her and what she feels would look best for me. She is rude and disrespectful, doesn't care about her patients and should not be practicing. By the way Ive worked in the medical field for over 20 years.

I had to go in to get 2 scary-looking lumps removed from under my collarbone and by my nipple. Did my research ahead of time and Dr Etherington and the whole team were knowledgeable folks with years of experience. They really took the time to answer all my questions beforehand, and make sure I felt safe and informed. Professional and and helpful all around! Like even down to the nurses and aides who offered blankets and wanted to make sure patients were okay during stressful procedures or scary visits. I know they get a lot of ladies here who are breast cancer survivors. Gotta have the right heart for that kind of work. I had an in-clinic procedure and it was faster and more streamlined than even a dentist appointment. Nurse Jackie and PA Molly got me set up, and Dr Etherington did her prep and got everything taken care of with little to no pain during the procedure. Super attentive and made sure I was ok the whole time. Awesome doc.

While Dr Etherington was kind and came off as informative, she really wasn’t. There were no implants to view. I was not informed that you had options on gumminess of implants, different profiles, no 3D imaging of how you’ll look, etc. I was so absorbed with surviving cancer, I didn’t research this area. I trusted her to inform me. She didn’t inform me of these choices. She made those decisions without my feedback. You will be informed that you can’t smoke for 4-6 weeks before surgery. You won’t be warned that you’ll be tested for nicotine moments before your surgery. I feel bad for the people that get hit with this power trip.

I was very upset after I left here. I waited one year to get an appointment for a consultation with the doctor, waited an hour to see her when I got there and was then told she didn't want to meet with me until I quit smoking for 4 weeks (I indicated on my paperwork that I smoke 2 cigarettes' a day). Her assistant said I had to come back a pass a urine test and then she would meet with me. I was taken aback and very upset. This was just a consult for implants. They made me feel like a drug addict and it was very extreme. I will not be going back there ever.

Appointment was. For pre surgery exam and discussion and details of my upcoming mastectomy procedure on right breast scheduled for 8/23/22

Dr. Etherington and her staff made me feel comfortable and well taken care of during my procedure. I would definitely recommend them!

Following a bariatric sleeve surgery, I went to Dr. Etherington to remove extra skin on my tummy and arms. I consulted with three plastic surgeons and chose Dr. Etherington. I loved how straight forward she was as she examined me. Dr. Etherington was amazing as she prepped me for the surgery and then helped me recover. I also loved her nurse, Jackie, and her PA, Molly. I highly recommend Dr. Etherington and her staff.

First off, she's was a great surgeon. I won't discount that. On my prior visit she offered to do a procedure in the future to correct an issue I have. There are 3 ways to go about it and she suggested option A as least invasive and easy to do. On this particular visit she not only dismissed that idea but said I'd need option B AND C and not only that but due to my health issues and reason for the original surgery, she likely wouldn't offer to do it at all. Why the change?! This was never said to me and in fact the opposite was said. I'm left baffled and confused.

Dr Etherington is an excellent surgeon with a great bedside manner. This was my final post-op visit with her. She answered all of my questions. I will definitely come to her with any future surgical needs I may have in the future that are within her surgical expertise.

Dr. Etherington, her nurse Jackie and her staff have provided me with phenominal care and support. I am so grateful they got me in during a difficult time and removed all the poison from the ruptured implant. Dr. Etherington did a remarkable job!!

Love my doctor. Super caring, understands my needs and concerns. Patient with all of my questions. Looking forward to my upcoming surgery with her.

Am grateful that Dr. Ethrington was recommended to me for my procedure. She is patient, pleasant, and actually listens to her patients. I highly recommend her services.

What could be more creepier than this. I wish I would have had my video going on my phone. Dr. Etherington had me put on a gown for my breast exam. When she opened the gown she said, "I wish I had ten year old breasts that looked like that." I was horrified. That is such an inappropriate comment. It's fine that she has certain personal preferences but don't creep on your patients.

Wonderful. She and her staff are amazing, thoughtful, thorough and the top of the line in breast care!! ?????? I’m so gray for their care.

She explained all the steps and what to expect. She answered all my questions and gave me confidence for the future:)

Her staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Dr. Etherington always takes time to discuss concerns and answer all my questions. She will give options for possible care.
