This is a follow-up to my 5/2/22 review regarding 9/2019 procedure of two Juvederm shots injected by Dr. Arviso into my vocal chords. I was not advised of potential risks of this procedure, nor did I ask. Unfortunately for me these shots were damaging to me. My voice continues in to be in bad shape (much, much worse than before shots) almost four years later. Raspy, gravely, not good, etc. My advice, don't allow Juvederm shots in your vocal chords. Especially without being fully aware of potential risks and bad results. Dr. Adviso is a good doctor, however, with my results on my issue, I cannot give a good review.

She is fantastic! She is extremely knowledgeable in her field of specialty & with new research, procedures & techniques. She has a fantastic bedside manner. With Dr Arvisi, you are not "a patient in room 2", you are a person who needs help & nothing is more important than getting your needs met. She also knows the best in other fields to which she will gladly refer you, if needed.

Dr. Arviso was able to give me my speaking voice back after ending up with vocal fold paralysis secondary to my head & neck cancer surgery. She has a terrific chair-side manner and is one of the most talented doctors whom I've had the good fortune to work with during a very difficult time. I'm a surgeon myself, so I know a great doc when I see one.

Dr. Arviso performed my vocal chord surgery about two years ago. She and Kimberly (her voice therapist) did an outstanding job! Because of their work and instruction, I haven't lost my voice once since the surgery and I used to several times a year. If me or my family has any future issues that fall under Dr. Arviso's expertise, I will not hesitate to schedule an appointment knowing we are in exceptional hands.

You are told to be there 15-20 min before your appointment and you will be charged If you cancel less than 24 hours. Unfortunately they have no respect for your time. They don't validate parking so it still costs you. A little consideration would be nice when you check in to tell you they're running late

I lost my voice due to cervical surgery. Fortunately it ultimately was temporary, but it was a difficult time for me. She and her associate were very professional, very thorough, considerate, patient, and helpful in my in explaining my diagnosis. Seeing my throat on a flat screen TV was a bit odd, but with her explanations somehow comforting to understand firsthand. She took the time to give me answers, not easy since I could only whisper at the time.
