Does not care about you.
This doctor is not helpful at all and will not provide care or further investigation as to why you’re having health issues. When you’re having health issues of an 80 year old and you’re in your 20’s, the last thing you want is a doctor to say “I don’t know”, put you on medication and leave it at that. I’ve had my thyroid checked three times and it’s came back normal each time. If you’re gaining weight at an abnormal rate she will tell you to work out 5 days a week and try Keto as if you don’t have a life or job. She loves to put you on medication without reason. If you’re having anxiety and depression issues she will put you on every different medication out there even if you feel you’ve found the one that helps best. She speaks to you as if you are ignorant and don’t know your own feelings. If you want to get in touch with her office then good luck. You can never get an answer and when you do they’ll easily hang up on you. If you want proper care DO NOT see this woman.

I didn’t see Dr. Smith but went there for a Covid Test. They gave me the test, billed my insurance, promised I would get my results within 48 hrs. They did not give me my results and did not tell me their office would be closed on Friday. I do not recommend going there. I needed results of this test and went there because my doctors office recommended them. I plan to notify Decatur General of their negligence.

When Dr. Lindsay Smith first went into practice in Hartselle she took more time with me. Not sure if she is just that busy or because I am now on Medicare. I see her Nurse Practitioner more than I see Dr. Smith.
