I have scribed for her and I can honestly say she is the most knowledgeable DR I have every scribed for. She knows her stuff and takes her time to explain it to you step by step. I have worked with a lot of DR's who don't care what you think, are rude and evasive and she is FAR from that. She will walk you through anything that you don't understand step by step even if you shouldn't be her patient and are coming from an Endocrine visit that is not in her specialty of thyroid cancer/nodules/dysfunction. I hate to say it this way, but if you had an issue with her it is most definitely because you are one of those patients that walk in and have either googled too much or are presenting to know what you are talking about when you really have not the slightest clue. The reality is that you can pretty much figure out thyroid cancer or dysfunction based solely off of those labs she orders and whether or not she really believes you need them she will order them to make you comfortable and will take the time to review them with you. I'm not even a doc and I know that, you would too if you listened to what she is saying and not insulting her pretending like you know what you are saying lol It takes about 4 labs, your past medical and family history, and maybe an US or FNA to figure out what you have, if its cancer or it's a benign nodule. LOL And the people that are saying she doesn't listen and calls you depressed... it's because it's true. Sorry but not. lol Everyone likes to attribute their fatigue, lack of energy, motivation and weight gain on something but the labs don't lie honey. She will not treat something that is not there. That's being a good and responsible doc. I can't think of many employees who actually like their boss but she is honestly so easy to work for and her patients adore her. I would send my own family members to get if she didn't practice so far away. So check your egos and humble yourselves. She's not the problem! you are. lol

Rushed and routine
Does not care. She or her assistant Mallory do not want to listen. They talk at you super fast and cut you off when you try to explain something. They rely on bloodwork and do not look into other health records. I really don’t understand why people like Bischoff. My general care doctor could do a far better job if all you need is to look at a tsh number and prescribe one of two medicines.

Dismissed and Belittled
It was absolutely horrible. She reviewed my labs, but when questioned, became defensive and said other Dr was wrong. It was extremely uncomfortable. I felt unheard and my symptoms were dismissed. I complained of throat pain and she can't do anything about that and she could refer me to a surgeon. There is something very wrong with this person. Something deeply wrong.

Dr Bischoff reviewed my labs from a previous physician & entered the room with a preconceived diagnosis. She DISMISSED any & all concerns! I would not ever recommend or return to her office. I have health concerns that she didn't even listen to. Because of my age & gender she DISMISSED me & wants to label me as Depressed. Listen to your patients please!!!! I'm a RN for pity sake ... don't talk to me like a 2 year old. I understand the previous labs & you talked down to me! Not professional at all.
