Dr. Linda Vassmer, MD

My daughter who has vast experience with caring for newborns went to Dr Vassmer. She already has the baby on a good schedule and is progressing nicely. My daughter and her husband had some questions. Dr Vassmer’s answers were condescending. Vassmer seems more concerned with making the parents feel inept rather than reassuring and encouraging them. Her advice (opinion) may have worked for her but it does not work for every child. If my daughter followed Dr Vassmer advice she would be overtired and extremely stressed and so would the baby. Thankfully my daughter has the sense to know what is best for her and her baby. She will not be going back.

Dr. Vassmer is great. I have known her for 10 years. I have 3 boys and she always has time to talk to us. She helps us get the appts we need. She knows our family and understands how to deal with each of my children uniquely. She offers advice and includes my older child in discussions. Fantastic Dr!

It is shocking how Advocate, such a great company, employs Dr. Vassmer. She is rude, full of sarcasm, unprofessional, and she gets very personal. She does not enjoy parents' questions at all. In fact, she will answer your question(s) with another question(s) and she will confuse you even more. If she does not like you or your child, she will show it by being very cold and unfriendly with your child and by belittling you.
