Dr. Linda Falconio, MD

I was a patient of Dr Falconio many years ago and stopped seeing her. I had a manic episode in her office during a yearly exam and rather than recognizing it as such she shamed me . It was devastating. As I was getting ready to leave the exam room someone from the front desk called me and said that Dr F wanted me to know she was running late because the “ previous patient wouldn’t stop talking “ .,Well she was referring to me. I told the person that I was the one she was talking about. It was humiliating. Dr F didn’t stop me during my exam and ask if I was ok . ( this behavior was out of character for me). It was also during Covid so I was definitely having issues . I talked to the office manager a day later and she made excuses. I never returned because of what happened. It was a horrible experience.

She is so passionate about her job as a doctor. You are never rushed and she cares and listens to what your health concerns are. She is beyond amazing and I pray she never retires. She has been my doctor since my 20s when she was in Encinitas. You will not find a better doctor that truly cares and listens and keeps up on everything new. BEST DOCTOR!!!!

Dr F is a kind soul. She shows her dedication to her patients care through actively listening and hearing the concerns and feelings of the patient and discussing any issues that the patient wants to talk about, and she takes her time in the office too you don't feel like you're on a crunch time during your appointment at all. She's knowledgeable she's kind she's down to earth and easy to talk to. She's very responsive to messages on her portal and her office is very good about getting someone in on an urgent basis to see she or her PA, Johanna if needed. She's efficient as well and always gets my medications correct to the pharmacy the first time which is important and doesn't always happen without other providers. I can't say enough good things about Dr Falconio. She's one of the best, if not the best PCP that I've ever had . Her office staff is amazing too. Thank you Dr Falconio for always being there to take care of me as a patient.

YES! There ARE GREAT DOCTORS and GREAT DOCTOR'S OFFICES! They are all warm, caring, compassionate and hard-working. I've been going to Dr. Falconio, Johanna NP and the team for well over seven years now and THIS is a great group of medical professionals. In this day and age of HMOs squeezing patients and providers worse than ever, Dr F and her team make things happen even when you need them last minute. They are ALL very thorough and great at what they all do. Dr. F is the best doctor I've been to in my many decades of seeing doctors. She is an amazing doctor and a wonderful human being. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Falconio and her team of professionals. Great people!

Considering the challenges of trying to practice medicine within our system, Dr Falconio does an outstanding job.

No visit. Never once in nearly 2 years to do I get an appointment with the doctor. This office is the epitome of what's wrong in healthcare. Stuck with this group because of my insurance. I missed the deadline to unenroll. They sent me to a medi-cal clinic to see a specialist! I was on hold for 30 minutes for an appointment, gave up. I went for an elective full body scan MRI and the PA spent the first 5 minutes interrogating me on how I was able to get a full body MRI, put out bc she had to address its findings. One of the findings they MISDIAGNOSED as a sinus infection and it's a sinus polyp. I took steroids and antibiotics for no reason. Then get referrals to address the MEI and I'm being punished and sent to a MEDI-CAL CLINIC !

I have been Dr. Falconio's patient for over 35 years. Not only have I worked in the medical field, but I also have a large family of physicians and can spot a physician who is excellent in all areas that are critical. Dr. Falconio surpasses all the rest. She thoroughly examines a patient, listens, explains your medical situation, and provides options so you feel you are part of your health care team. Her thoroughness literally saved my life more than once when other doctors missed my medical symptoms. The entire staff is diligent, responsive and kind. The fact that this same team has worked in this office for decades says a lot about how the office is run, a team that cares about the patients. I feel so fortunate that I was referred to Dr Falconio long ago. If I had to drive across the state to see her, I would. Many people choose medical providers that are close to driving distance. I pick the best provider for my health care needs.

Dr. Falconio has always been very thorough at any visit I've had. She goes above and beyond to be an advocate for your health. I highly recommend her!

Have been following Dr Falconio from location to location since I moved to CA in 1995. She and her team (and her adorable doggies) are superb professionals and kind people. Her staff has been with this practice for decades. This says volumes about how Dr Falconio runs her clinic.

As our primary physician, Dr. Falconio is excellent. She is always willing to listen and give you plenty of time. She's thorough and efficient and has a warm and friendly personality. We trust her completely.

One of The Best Doctors in San Diego County!

There are many challenges facing all of us these days. All of us. I've been a patient of Dr. Falconio for five years and my now departed Mom for over 4 years. Mom was very old school and hated doctors and didn't trust them or confide in them. Mom felt comfortable enough to let her guard down with Dr. Falconio. As for me, Dr. F as we call her is amazing and caring and the most compassionate healthcare provider I have EVER had in decades of having many healthcare providers. I have a LOT going on and she is not judgmental, but listens, cares and helps. She goes above and beyond. She has helped through a lot of things and her staff are as amazing and caring. The staff are hard-working and dealing with a lot. Life is different now and we all need to give everyone some slack. Expecting the most for the least payment is not right. Be kind and KNOW that you are and will be in great hands. OK? Dr. F and her staff are wonderful, hardworking and very compassionate.

I visit Dr. Falconio's office in September 2020. I have been dealing with billing issues for the four months since. It is very difficult to get anyone of the phone to talk through my concerns. When staff do answer the are short, rude, and unhelpful. Very disappointed in my experience!

Don't have to wait long to be seen. She is an excellent practitioner who knows her stuff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Falconio for over 30 years. I have referred many family/friends to her as well. I have many complex medical issues. Dr Falconio is the best doctor there is! She is very intelligent, very current, and the nicest person you will ever meet! She is soooooo good and is totally dedicated to her work and patients! No one could ever beat her. There are no doctors like her around and won't be. All doctors know her and her work and have such great things to say about her. I am a Registered Dietitian and everyone knows her and respects her in all the hospitals I have worked in. She has helped me with many medical problems. She listens to you and is always open minded. People that work here have no sense of urgency since after a day and a half of waiting, I had to call them twice to find out my lab results (I was put on hold only to be sent to voicemail). I refused to leave another voicemail so finally after 10 minutes, a random nurse picked up, read my results out loud to me like she was reading a menu and told me that I could’ve checked my email. I attempted to go on the link they emailed me and found that I had no access to see my results as I needed login information that they could only provide. So...I called a third time and was put on hold for another 10 minutes to have the same nurse tell me, “well they were supposed to have given this to you during your doctor’s visit”, which of course, they hadn’t. This is simply one of the worst & impersonal experiences I’ve had with a doctor’s office. I wonder why these people chose this career. *(My results did show in fact, I need Surgery as soon as possible).

I cannot recommend Dr. Falconio highly enough. Her bedside manner is unequal, my only regret is that I didn't listen to my friends and start going to her earlier. I have had the pleasure of being under her care for about 7+ years now and could not be happier with her, Johanna & the entire team. She listens, understands, explains (so YOU can understand), has empathy and gives excellent healthcare and advice. ~ Kym McQuiston

Best ever. Followed her from Encinitas to Vista, which means I need to drive about 35 minutes to see her, but she’s totally worth it.

She is a very good listener

A wonderful doctor who really cares about her patients and is very thorough , she is a very sweet woman who is easy to talk to and she takes great care of her patients. Love this doctor. I would highly recommend this doctor to all my friends and family.
