She is a very good doctor. She makes a visit very pleasant. I am so glad I got in to see her as a new patient! She is knowledgeable and organized. A breath of fresh air fir sure!

Appt with Dr. Lina Swenson Canceled w/o NOTICE
My appointment today with Dr. Swenson was canceled and no one bothered to let me know. I'm sure Dr. Swenson decided to cut out and head to the cabin early this weekend, but working folks like me find it difficult to get time off for doctor visits. I wasted half a day today, when a simple phone call would have sufficed. This was UNACCEPTABLE and I want an explanation from Dr. Swenson herself. I will be sure to leave a NEGATIVE review on Healthgrades and any other website I can for the dear doctor and the INCOMPETENT Uptown Clinic front office staff.

My doctor retired and I switched within the same office, which is in Minneapolis. I find Dr Swenson to be a great listener, open to my ideas and willing to do the tests I need and send my case on to the specialists. She is very responsive on the online portal as well and communicated that I needed to be seen quickly for a problem I was having. As my primary care physician, I trust her to "screen" the problem properly and tell me when it is time to get worried or if it can be easily dealt with

She is one of the only doctors I've ever trusted in my life. She is calm, really listens and reads you. Very thorough, addressing every single concern without missing a beat. And I love her sense of humor! Earthy, human. Not technical and separate.
