Dr. Liliana Uribe-Bruce, MD

In all my many years I have never been treated in such a terrible manner! This was my fourth appointment and I gave Dr. Uribe a summary of tests from Quest that I paid for myself as a gift. Their recommendation was that I have 2 additional thyroid tests that I have never had before. Unexpectedly Dr. Uribe lashed out in a mean loud voice 'I am not giving you those tests and if you don't like what I'm doing you are free to go elsewhere!' I was stunned and almost speechless but I had another question about a test she gave me and her response was again 'There was nothing wrong with that test and if I did not agree with what she was doing I was free to go elsewhere!'When I read her review I was given no further lab test or appointments even though I am supposed to be tested every 6 months and I always received a future appointment that I never missed or changed. She also stated that she discussed other things with me that she never did!

After waiting months for an appointment, I received a robo notification from the Doctor's office cancelling my appointment and rescheduling it to another time without consulting with me on whether or not that time worked for me. I changed my schedule (not easy and costly as I work for myself) to accommodate the new appointment. I joined on time (isn't that the point of an appointment?) and after 15 minutes I dropped off assuming the appointment wasn't happening. I received a call from the Doctor asking if I was joining and letting me know she was trying to join since 9:10 (ten minutes after our scheduled time). In a day and age where providers charge you for missed appointments or tell you they can't see you if you are too late, it's ridiculous that this kind of thing happens. Patients have lives and commitments too. Respect that, or at minimum communicate you will be late, and maybe apologize too? I will be looking for another provider. Again.

I went in for a hormone test and was told I would receive results for my hormones , estrogen, cortisol, etc. The test results of my blood were incomplete and Dr. Uribe-Bruce denied a new test. She denied speaking to me and now I am left to see my primary in a month without the results I needed. Unfortunately I am still in great pain when this process could have easily been expedited.

Dr. Uribe Bruce has been a very good doctor for me. She helps me to better understand and manage my diabetes and seems to genuinely care about her patients. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing an experienced and knowledgeable endocrinologist.

For the last 18 yrs i had not been treated with so much interest in finding a real honest relief. With Dr Uribe finaly i recovered my trust on doctors, no rush, very pleasant too. Jose
