I came to see Dr. Liliana C. Sackett at occupational health for a work related injury. A patient I had punched me in the stomach. The bed side manner that I received from Dr. Liliana Sackett was atrocious. Instead of listening to me as I described my symptoms and the effects that the injury is having on me, Dr. Liliana Sackett repeatedly cut me off as I was talking. She did not treat me with dignity. Dr. Liliana Sackett also was rude in her demeanor towards me. I discussed my headache symptoms and she cut me off saying “I don’t want to hear about any headache. I’m not here for the headache. I am not going to deal with that.” How is a doctor supposed to properly assess her patient if she doesn’t listen? Furthermore I have hair loss from my medication that I take. So I wear wigs. During this visit I was adjusting my wig, Dr. Sackett commented with a laugh, saying “Oh, I thought that was your real hair.” Very rude, and embarrassing to say that unwarranted comment about my hair.

Put simply, Dr. Sackett is amazing. I went to see her after an injury at work and I really wish I could have her as my regular doctor rather than just an occupational medicine doctor. She is highly personable with an excellent bedside manner, and she honestly listens to complaints/concerns. The only issue I had was with most (not all) of the front desk staff, who didn't want/like to print visit receipts--which I needed for my workplace--and would give me a hard time about it almost consistently.
