Dr. Lidia Koulova, MD

This doctor ignored an issue on my relative’s chemo follow up testing. She did not follow up on questionable findings, no further testing as suggested on the report, said “nothing to worry about”…. 2mo later and my relative is now dealing with metastatic dx that was evident in the initial tests! There was no communication between this provider and others in the same organization. Multiple providers saw the same test results, and said nothing. This Doc appeared to be too busy to take 5 minutes to read a result and update a patient other than to offer false information. If my relative didn’t ask a third provider to look at the results, she STILL wouldn’t know about this devastating result! What does that say about patient care ar Bon Secours? Terrible!

I found her to be extremely knowledgeable . She took her time to explain everything about how she felt the care plan should go. She is very professional & confident with her explanations !

I found her to be thorough and smart. She order just enough iron infusions to stabilize my anemia. She was very personable.

June 1, 2019. In 2008 I was diagnosed with stage four non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Dr Koulova was my doctor. I had six cycles of chemo, through it all she was very understanding and knowledgeable. She has been my doctor ever since I highly recommend her. She is very thorough, knowledgeable and understanding. I have been in remission for 11 years and credit that to Dr Koulova. She is the best!

I was in an accident and developed blood clots in my leg. they put in a filter in said it should come out in 3-4 months, its 14 months later and I still have the clots. Spending long wait time to see her to be sent for another sonogram in 3 months, after 14 months she came n the room and said she has only seen me once in a year. IF YOU ARE TOO OLD TO PRACTICE YOU SHOULD RETIRE!!

I have been to a number of doctors including many at the 'best' hospitals. I have found Dr. Koulova to be very knowledgeable and generous in the time she spends explaining my care. Her methodology in treatment employs the latest advances as she manifests a warm and compassionate manner. I couldn't be more pleased to have her as my doctor.

Dr. Koulova is extremely thorough.
