Dr. Li Xu, MD

Dr.Xu is wonderful. Soft spoken, explains everything. Very caring. I put my complete trust in her. Explains protocol in your situation. Office clean (Cary office). Office staff everyone of them. Efficient friendly kind. Highly recommend.

This doctor lacks the patience and willingness to work with her patients. When asked simple questions during OB appointments, we weren’t taken seriously. From the start of the labor, she was pushing a C-section on me and was undermining my decision to go natural. She did not want to try alternate methods or even listen to the nurses.

I truly love this doctor. She was a life-saver for me. After years of suffering from many difficulties I decided to change doctors and I'm so thankful I did. I began going to Dr. Xu and she was very concerned with the problems I was having. After two visits she decided to perform a hysterectomy which has completely changed my life. My previous Doctor, who was a man, would never ever consider a hysterectomy even though I had to have surgery because of a tumor and had to have an ovary removed.

This doctor has the bedside manner of a robot. She was not friendly. My first appt. with her, she ended it with telling me not to get my hopes up about my pregnancy. Sure enough, I had a m/c two weeks later. Nothing was done to try to improve the odds for my unlikely pregnancy. No tests were run to check hormone levels other than hcg. She decided early on that it would fail and did nothing to try to prevent it. They even refused to give an u/s to confirm a m/c. Find a doctor who cares.
