Dr. Liu is very, knowledgeable, compassionate and professional! You are in great hands with his care and team! Armando is first class too!

If you want steroid injections, radio frequency ablations, nuerostimulators etc. go here. For other reasons I suggest going out of town where doctors are not taking advantage of their disabled patients

Dr. Liu is professional, courteous and very qualified in providing the best care he can to all his patients with pain. He really tries to get rid of your pain and doesn’t just prescribe a bunch of pain pills. I strongly recommend Dr. Liu to anyone having pain.

THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO THE REVIEW LEFT ON 08/12/2017. I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR. LIU FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND I AM CERTAIN THAT YOU ARE DESCRIBING A TOTALLY DIFFERENT DOCTOR. HE IS POSITIVELY THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE AND TRAINED PHYSICIAN I HAVE EVER KNOWN. I AM BEING SEEN FOR CHRONIC BACK PAIN DUE TO FAILED BACK SURGERY SYNDROME. Dr. LIU CAREFULLY REVIEWED MY MEDICAL HISTORY AND CAREFULLY EXPLAINED A GREAT TREATMENT OPTION FOR MY CONDITION.

I would recommend Dr. Liu to anyone suffering from debilitating pain. His genuine concern for me was evident as he took the time to review my medical history and symptoms. He explained options with me to help manage my back pain. His focus was not on prescriptions, but rather on procedures and therapy to alleviate my daily pain. I am grateful we have such a caring, competent pain management doctor in Corpus Christi.

Took my grandmother to see this doctor and the doctor was very rude to us. The front office staff had us waiting for over an hour and lack customer service. I will not take her back to this office.

I have read the reviews left here and frankly I am confused by some of them. Dr Liu. Is amazing. The medical industry as a whole has no problem prescribing any number of pain pills and frankly not considering the end result. Dr liu however is a thoughtful and long term thinker. He not only helped me with my pain management he basically took me off of a roller coaster that I was just sick or riding. I cannot say enough good about this man. Thanks

dr Liu is quite professional and is knowledgable, his staff is another thing completely, does not seem to pay enough attention to detail as I would expect, do not inform patients of any delays that may come up and you can plan on an extended waiting period, don't make other plans

Dr Liu is one of the kindness and most caring physicians I have ever been to. He is gentle in his procedures both in the off and in SDS. The first injection I had in my back gave me more pain relief than I have had in the last 20 yrs.

Overall I do like Dr. Liu. He's a great doctor, and does attend to your pain managment needs, BUT the main caveat I have with is his staffing. When it comes to making a phone call to his off, NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!! 95% of the time, you get an answering machine. And when you do leave a message, you have a 50% chance that someone will call you back. This UNACCEPTABLE!! It's EXTREMELY irritating. This NEEDS IMPROVEMENT!!

INSTITUTE OF PRECISION PAIN MEDICINE ALWAYS PROMOTE DIFFERENT MODALITY OF THERAPIES TO HELP EACH PATIENT IMPROVE HIS/HER FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY AND OVERALL QUALITY OF LIFE. WE DO NOT SIMPLY REFILL PAIN MEDICATIONS. WE ARE NOT A CLINIC OF "JUST GIVING OUT PAIN MEDICINE." WE EDUCATE EACH PATIENT ON THE IMPORTANCE OF INCORPORATING DIFFERENT TYPE OF THERAPIES TO IMPROVE CORE STRENGTHENING AND MINIMIZE THE NEED OF OPIOID MEDICATIONS.

A change in insurance forced my doctor to recommend me to Dr. Lui. It was a mismanaged disaster. I had to wait a long time to get an appointment. Most of his staff is untrained and make serious mistakes like not sharing medical history with the insurance company and being denied a procedure because of it.A s he was injecting my neck,Dr. Lui told me coldly that he didn't have the expertise to do RF burns on my neck. Not the expertise! Worst experience ever with this man and his staff.

He seemed caring at first. After he discovered that I couldn't have the injections he insisted on (which costs a small fortune, and make him the most), he turned ugly. He called me a pharmacy hopper, because after HE told me to switch pharmacies, I did (after being with the same pharmacy for over 30 years). I switched only ONCE, but he denied that his own office had been calling in scripts to my new pharmacy since March (this was in August)!! Like I don't have proof? Only in it for $$.

I have been a patient of Dr. Liu for many years. He first helped me when I had a craniotomy. He has helped me since then with pain management. He is the BEST !

I been with DR. Liu for 4 years he is awesome he understands the problems with dealing with pain every day and does all he can to help.

Dr.Liu is one of the most caring doctors you will ever meet he has been my doctor for the past 4 years and i wouldn't want another to treat me but him. The Best
