Prescribed daily benzodiazapenes
Dr. Lane, at first, seemed like a caring and compassionate individual who - unusually for a psychiatrist - actually talks to their patients. However, following a severe period of depression, I was placed on the drug Clonazepam and instructed to take it daily — without any discussion of the risks that can come from being on this drug long-term. Every medical professional I spoke to after leaving Dr. Lane, including ER doctors, a psychiatrist, and several therapists, has found it appalling that he would prescribe this for 3 entire years. It is a medication meant for short-term use and to be taken as needed — not every day. I would sue him if I thought I could win, but instead I am left with a foggy memory and the knowledge that I am 84% more likely to develop Alzheimer’s because of the extended period I was taking benzodiazepines.

Doc. Assisted me, with PTSD and the lose of my mother from cancer, and depression. Unfortunately I moved from laguna Beach to Atlanta area. Doc. Is expensive, zero insurance. However, as in all things, "you get what pay for!!"

Dr Lane’s sense of humor lends to a relaxed environment but there some degree to the humor being non therapeutic to the situation. There have been more times than not that I appreciated his light mood. I have experienced times though where I was very sad, Dr Lane’s mood didn’t help because it didn’t penetrate the profound sadness I was feeling. I felt bad because I wanted to appreciate him but couldn’t and that created a lot of pressure on me. Bipolar disorder goes up&down so.....

I've been in the care of Dr. Lane for over ~15 years for ADHD & Chronic Depression. Prior to my first visit to Dr. Lane I was 10 years "sober" and was very reluctant to use (or even try) the normal treatments for these conditions. Reality prompted my 1st. appointment. Dr. Lane prescribed the correct medication & turned my life around. I've been so much better, for long now. 25 yr.s Sober + Happier, Thank-You Dr. Lane for helping me smile again with genuine warmth and ease. Mike B. in C.M.

Dr Lane is a a great doctor. Kind and compassionate. He helped me with an Anxiety Disorder. I was going to cancel my first appointment until Dr. Lane called me and told me he knew what I was going through and could help. I'm glad I went. He is expensive and he does not take insurance. He is up front about it though. No surprises there. I was able to get a portion reimbursed from my insurance company. Hey...sometimes you get what you pay for. It was worth it.

My wife suffers from depression and anxiety. After going to approved insurance Dr's and having no success, we decided to try a $350 an hour Dr who does not take insurance. We told him she has been sober for 11 years and I have been sober 27 years. Against my better judgment I let him put her on 6 Ativan a day and a Xanax at night. My wife weighs 100 lbs. After 3 months on these ridiculous drugs, she drank. Now he wont talk to her or me. That is what we got for the $4000 we paid.
