First experience was GREAT. I would recommend anyone to see Dr. Allen. Second experience, not so much. I went in for an annual check up with meds. She half listened to me. I left feeling like I was just a number or dollar to her. She gave me a Rx that had severe side effects which I couldn't take. She failed to refill several of my Rx's. Next visit I was extremely ill. She didn't listen to me. Tried to run the SAME test that she did 2 months prior. Didn't take a urine sample. Didn't increase on med which needed to be increased. Took a week before I got any info on a referral and I had to call. Then I ended up in the ER and messaged her ... her demeanor was out of place. Told me there's nothing she could do for me.

Went to get chat removed, left with allergist refe
Not much else to say. She didn't listen. I'm asking to get a cyst on my forehead removed, she looks at it, then mentions my breathing, then says, "We need to get you to a specialist to see about those allergies". I said what about the cyst, and her reply was that she could see that I was having trouble with allergies and I shouldn't have to suffer like that. So I ended my suffering by never going back there again.

Doesn't care
I've seen her for years. Got covid. Was still on oxygen and she sent me back to work. Put down on my paperwork that I was off oxygen and feeling fine. Changed drs. It was the last straw

Years ago she had prescribed my ex klonopin and lithium, no questions asked. And when I went in to get back on adhd medication (for school) she said, well I can tell by sitting here that you don't have adhd and I'm not giving you a controlled substance. So here I am, still suffering years later and not in school :)

Dr. Allen is the most kindest person I know! The care she gave my husband after his heartattack was incredible! She takes the time to help you understand what is going on with you and how we can make it better! I would recommend her highly to my family and friends!

My family has seen Dr. Allen for years. She has always taken the time and consideration to listen to my concerns. I would recommend her to anyone. My issue is not with Dr. Allen but with the office staff. Recently I was denied a walk in appointment even though I was the only the 2nd person in the waiting room. I simply needed to have prescriptions refilled and this was the only time I had available to do so. They staff was very rude and I found the situation to be ridiculous. Will not be going back to this office.

Dr Allen took lots of time with me, more so than most doctors I’ve been to. She listened and prescribed exactly what I needed to get rid of my bronchitis in 3 days.

Has zero interest in listening to your concerns. I told her my son seemed to have very bad allergies and possibly asthma as I did. She said well if you have not noticed him wheezing then he does not. I continued to express concern from my son when she then yelled at me and said, fine what do you want?! I would like a referral to Family Allergy and Asthma. Guess what? When we went there it turns out that I was 100% right & then gave him inhalers, Epi pens & set him up for allergy shots 3x a week.

Dr allen has always listened to my cares and concerns with my health. I have been with her for a few years now. She calls me with test results,very good with followup. Also very pleasant and easy to taik to. I am very fortunate to have her as my doctor!

My husband and I both had our first time visits with Dr. Allen on last week. She was so caring, and compassionate. She took her time with both of us, answered all our questions, and you could feel her sincerity. So glad we found a physician with a wonderful "bedside" manner.
