I was very disappointed in the outcome of my surgery. My implants had to be replaced due to capsular contracture. I wanted them to be the exact same size and was very clear in expressing this to Dr. Elliot. He replaced my implants with smaller implants which resulted in a highly visible scar on my torso rather than underneath the breast and hidden as it had been previously. Now I feel like I am walking around scarred; I am unhappy,, sleepless and depressed as I am constantly conscious of the scar. I can’t look ay myself undressed as I can’t bear to see the scar. My significant other has also remarked on the size difference and visibility of the scar. Dr. Elliot blamed me/my body when I confronted him about it and claimed my implants “landed high”. I feel victimized. A good plastic surgeon does not blame the patient for a bad result, (particularly on such a basic procedure); a good plastic surgeon achieves a visually appealing outcome - no excuses.

I'm grateful to have been referred to Dr. Frank Elliott following my breast cancer diagnosis. A patient facing breast surgery and reconstruction wants to know that her surgeon is confident, experienced and highly skilled. Dr. Elliott meets all those expectations and is an expert in his field. Underwent a prophylactic double mastectomy and Dr. Elliott performed the breast reconstruction with free TRAM flap repair. Three months post-op and results are great. The shape of my breast are exactly what I wanted..they look very natural.
