Poor care
I am left feeling very dissatisfied with my experience with the front desk, scheduling staff, manager, and Dr Zuniga. As a patient I should be able to express my concerns and needs without judgment. I was grossly and falsely accused of an outburst that never happened. Although I was upset I never raised my voice nor used inappropriate language. I was expressing my genuine needs and fears as a patient. I expressed how much pain I was in and how I had been losing sleep. I was left feeling that those needs and fears were used against me and ultimately used to decline further treatment in this office. I feel shocked and frustrated by this decision. I have a had multiple interactions with Dr. Zuniga and have felt a coldness each time. In my experience Dr. Zuniga doesn’t put the needs of the patient first and should truly take time to reflect on her involvement in this situation and how she treats her patients.

Great Doctor
I took my husband to see her and she was very compassionate and asked some questions and really listened to what he said. She did some preliminary tests and was able to give us her diagnosis fairly quickly and really helped us a lot. She was thorough and answered all of our questions. We would highly recommend her. The office staff was really nice too.

Dr Zuniga performed an EMG on me. Before the test, I asked her if there would be any issues, as I was going on a 2 week vaca in 5 days. She said there would not be any problems. My right leg calf muscle was difficult to get a result, she tried the area 3 times. It was extremely painful, rather unbearable. The next day it was very sore, bruised. I called the office to ask what to do. They never called back. 3 days later I couldn’t walk on it. It was a Friday morning , I called and said I am leaving town for two weeks and I cant walk. Please call me today. I never got a call. They called Monday but I was 1/2 way across the USA. We had to stop in Tulsa and buy a walker as I couldn’t put any weight on it. After 3 days of trying to get thru their phone line, I spoke with someone and they said they would call me back. They did not. 3 weeks later I am still using a walker. I went to their office when I was back in town, talked with the office mgr. She did say they are having phone problems. They used that excuse 3 weeks prior too. She said I should follow up with my PCP or hospital ER. My trip to see my 93 year old mom became all about me and my pain. I could walk perfectly before the EMG. My advice is do not have an EMG.

I wanted to visit but the office NEVER answers
Called three times. Sat on their hold 40 minutes the first time. 8 minutes the 2nd time, and 5 the last time. This was during office hours so they should be open, at least according to their website. Based on the fact they NEVER answer their phone, why would you want to come here?

So disappointed
I have a lot of doctors and have had some bad experiences but I would have to say that this one was probably one of the worst. Dr. Zuniga is not only extremely rude lacking bedside manner but did not listen or take her time to give a crap. This caused a misdiagnosis on her part. At one point she asked me if I had a therapist!!! As if this was something in my mind!!!! If you read this, you are a terrible terrible doctor. I should have read these reviews before seeing you!!! You have more negative than positive reviews. I hope this saves someone the waste of time seeing you would cause!

Had I taken her advice and waited on a 3mm brain aneurysm, I'd be dead today. My husband and I implored with her for some type of answer as to her reasoning for sitting and waiting. She replied by checking her watch repeatedly. Please go somewhere else. Barrow operated on me immediately and saved my life. She should not be allowed to practice.

Terrible bedside manner. She will talk to you as if you are the dumbest person she has ever met. Even if she was the best neurologist in the world, it's not worth being treated like you're less than human.

The absolute worst patient experience in 60 years of seeing doctors. She needs to be her own patient. I was 20 min early for appt and she walks in at 925 and I begin to tell her why I was there and she RUDELY cut me off saying its 925 your appt was at 9 just answer my questions. She did not even look at underlying cause. Not fit to practice.

I was skeptical at first, I had been living with dizziness for almost 2 years and had seen my PCP and other neurologist. I then saw Dr. Zuniga and after talking to be she recommended therapy. Since starting therapy my dizziness is much better. I'm actually able to play soccer again. GLad my coworker convinced me to go, good doctor I'm so happy to feel better.

While Dr. Zuñiga was initially perceptive of my concerns during my first appointment with her, it all went downhill after that. Lied about specific nerves not being able to be tested at all. Refused to do any imaging for severe back and nerve pain. Refused to explain the process of anything she did or why she was doing it, and refused to tell my any of her hypothesis. The kicker was telling me I “have to wait for a referral” for another test at a different nondescript facility for a completely different issue and never contacting me again.

She was terrible. Utterly the worst doctor I've ever had. Snotty, know it all (when she knew nothing), etc. She's so arrogant without any reason to back it up. DO. NOT. SEE. HER. That's the best advice I could give.
