Dr. Leslie Sojka, MD

Listens to everything you tell him. Very thoughtful and spends enough time with you. Takes lots of notes and writes instructions down for you to take home which is a plus! I always forget what I was told when I leave the doctors office. The office staff has always been very polite, courteous and helpful.

Dr Sojka The phone calls and conversations that the staff have while others are in the waiting room is not professional. They openly discuss medical histories, prescriptions, diagnoses etc. as if no one could hear. Much too informal. I've seen several other similar comments. Perhaps it's time someone corrected this serious issue. It not a joke

in short, my hipaa rights have been violated by this office. i called to speak with the doctor, the office manager told me that she had a room filled with patients, before she said my name several times, and listed the medications i'm on. i was hung up on - and then after i called back, the doctor got on the phone to say that he was discharging me, and he hung up on me. i called back again, to point out that my hipaa rights had been violated, i was put on speaker phone, in front of a room filled with patients, and i stated this, and i also said that the doctor was one of my remaining lifelines, considering my situation, which was met with LAUGHTER. he will be hearing from my lawyer.

Dr. Sojka has was trained at an excellent medical school, which sets him apart from other local doctors. He's a very nice person. However, Dr. Sojka is very unorthodox in his medical practice and often out of sync with the most recent medical practices. He also does not work closely with specialists nor colleagues. Good for a second opinion, though probably better to stick to more traditional local physicians, who are team players.

Very disappointed with Dr. Sojka's office. After many years of using the doctor I was left with no choice but to pick another. Their office staff is plainly rude and insensitive.
