Dr. Pristas is an amazing, caring surgeon who discussed all of my options and worked with me and figuring out what was the best option for me. She made sure I completely understood the procedure, any risks and the recovery period. She went above and beyond to give me the best care and took many precautions to keep me safe and healthy through my surgery and recovery. My surgery was free of any complications and my recovery and outcome has been great. She has been available for questions I had post surgery and has been great with follow up appointments. I can't put into words how thankful I am for all Dr. Pristas has done for me. She fixed 15 years of symptoms and suffering in a 2 hour surgery.

Dr. Pristas was great PRIOR to surgery. AFTER surgery, she was horrible! She was dismissive, neglectful, and unprofessional. She stopped pain meds 3 or 4 days after my major abdominal surgery, and released me from the hospital with a very deep, 3 inch wound left wide open without even culturing it for infection! My PCP saw me the following day and took over the care of my infected wound because she refused to be bothered! It took months to get all the complications straightened out. Just AWFUL!
