Dr. Leslie Konkin, MD

We met Aug 22 1979, Bo was born that day. He had fractures that healed before he was born and Dr. Konkin was brought in by Dr. Harold Amer. We talked about our baby boy as he fought for his life. A few years later I asked if he could check my hip, he did, running a few tests. The news was bad, my hip was loose and needed repairs. Dr. Konkin know I needed a guy who could work wonders, so he sent me to his teacher at UCSF. I spent a month in transaction, and walked on that hip for fifteen years. I'm proud to have known him and had him in our lives. Taking care of Bo with love and such kindness. We even owned property in Southern California on the same road! I just happened to mention a trip to take my daughter to college, and went to see my parents, I saw his investment houses being built there. small world, that i'm happy to be a part of. Thanks for everything Dr. Konkin, I'lll never forget.

Excellent! Very professional, knowledgable, helpful, compassionate. Couldnt have asked for a better physician, he was a perfect choice. Had a great result. Thank you! Would definately go to him again. His PA, eh...Back office staff excellent, proficient, and friendly. Wish some of the front staff were!

We have been patients of his many years. He takes his time to explain and listening. I've had both my shoulders done with great results. I'm getting ready to have my knee done and have confidence it will be fine. I'm in the Oakdale office.

I've given the lowest rating that I can. Dr. Konkin has a ton of experience & is considered an excellent orthopedic surgeon, but I think his age is taking its toll. My wife just got out of an appointment with my teenage daughter. He seemed irritated from the start. My wife asked some questions & Konkin basically flipped out on her, yelling at her as she walked out. The receptionist had a look of shock & had an apologetic expression on her face towards my wife. My wife just called me in tears.

Excellent surgeon! After two hip replacement surgeries I cannot recommend him more highly.

Suggested causes of knee discomfort. Verified his suspicions with X-Rays. Discussed alternative solutions. Scheduled me for treatment. Answered all questions. As I go through this process, I have 100% confidence in Dr. Konkin and his decision making based on acquired information.
