Horrific
I went to him to be my new primary care physician and medication manager. I disclosed everything I'm on and why during my appointment he voiced no concerns. when it came time for me to get my medications he ignored my messages for 2 weeks and then when I was out of medication told me he had no intention of refilling them. leaving me scrambling to find a new doctor while going through Withdrawal. I then had to endure being seen as a drug seeker as I make panic calls trying to get my medication. The system is broken and drs like this, just don't care

Dr. Darkes is a friendly, thorough, caring physician. He and his staff run an extremely efficient practice, with almost no wait time, and easy access to a lab facility should you need bloodwork done. He spends the time he needs to understand you as a person, and to understand your health issues and concerns. He also knows a network of practitioners in the UNC system and can refer to specialists of they are needed.
