Sad Experience
Being in severe pain can make one appear histrionic; however, we all deserve a doctor who feels the great responsibility of taking care of us and that it is an honor we chose him or her and not vice-versa. For we all pay out-of-pocket, insurance premiums, and the co-payments. So find the doctor who hears you. With him, I felt herded in and out, unbelieved, lost, and alone. I found his assistant, Darren, listened more than he. I came highly respecting Doctor Toussaint. I know that he is a very good surgeon (he was most wonderful to both my mother & grandmother). He just missed my problem. An MRI and x-rays were completed... unfortunately of the wrong area. My diagnosis was truly missed. For this, I, not he, is suffering.

Office staff is less than desired. No one returns phone calls. Needed their help filling out LOA papers and she put 3 days after having major back surgery. Numerous calls and messages left. I would also suggest that setting up PT/Rehab appointments before surgery instead of after so I don’t waste time waiting for an opening for an appointment. Doctor did a great job, surgery seems successful so far, but they lack in personal interactions. I saw him twice. Consult and surgery day and the PA after that.
